Yes, it takes some time (approximatively 20 minutes).

The system is currently being reworked so :

1. Actualization becomes instant,
2. Balancing will be adjusted so upvote strength distributed on users' posts becomes more fair.

I will write an update post detailing the changes once this is tested, up and running.
