No I'm actually @adamada and I've seen Hive's recent pump so I'm jumping on the bandwagon on being one of the cool kids that suddenly felt like blogging harder cause I miss my creative outlet and there's no other reason out there aside from having a hobby - that happens to pay for doing scribbles online.
I never left, just got busy with work that it turns out maintaining mental health is just as important as physical health but I'm doing it with more mental baggage. On a daily grind, my work just lets me listen to people having tragic backstories, personality disorders, psychotics, psychotics on remission, depressed and suicidal, and the deluded. I say, I think I found the love for what I do but it falls short from totally claiming I love my job listening to other peoples woes but it pays.
There's a humanitarian side to it and having that sense of relief that some people out there actually do get better from our intervention but at the same time, I couldn't help but feel the work that needs to be put out there to make people understand that getting a consult is normal too. Call it being fed up with cases that involve people lacking insight into the consequences of their actions, gee, idk, maybe the reason they got hospitalized due to alcohol withdrawal syndrome is because they have alcohol use disorder and can't seem to connect the dots that it's their drinking habits that got them in trouble in the first place?
I tell you, insight ain't enough, you know drinking alcohol and smoking harms your health but that doesn't stop people from consuming poison. Or their debt problem had something to do with their spending habits and lending habits from loan sharks to maintain a lifestyle they can't afford.
Anyway, I've been in and out of Hive or crypto in general. If you see me post, it's likely I just banked the draft over the weekend and scheduled it posted, I wish I could hang out but I got to be a responsible adult somewhere slaving my life for wages and get a lick of happiness somewhere.
I'm just tired when I wrote this. I love my moods and posts, it gives me a cringe fest when I review them 365 days from now.
Thanks for your time.
