The Spider

The day was half over when Mark woke up. There was no hurry. There was nowhere to go either. He walked slowly, with quiet steps toward the kitchen. Mark pudo mirar a su alrededor y no vio a nadie, ni a ninguna cámara filmando aquella escena final de su vida. Finalmente pensó que si había salvado a la pobre mariposa azul, ahora podría tener a alguien que viniera a rescatarlo. Pero, ya era hora. Un vapor caliente corría por sus venas, y un sueño más intenso que el que había lo mantuvo en la cama la mitad del día.

La araña parecía satisfecha. En la sala sólo quedaba el sonido de la televisión y en el discurso de un político entrevistado resonaba que el control de las deudas controla a la población.
