This just came in the mail today!
1 tube of 25 one troy ounce 2018 silver Krugerrands.
Golden Krugerrands became notable in 1967 because they were the first 1 troy ounce bullion coin to be issued by a country but without a denomination. By 1980, the gold Krugerrand dominated over 80% of the bullion market. The Obverse depicts Paul Kruger with the Reverse depicting a Springbok Antelope in stride. In 2017, South Africa decided to expand their bullion offerings to include a silver Krugerrand for the 50th anniversary of the gold Krugerrand, however with a denomination, 1 Rand. 2017 was a special edition year of the first minting of the silver Krugerrand, with only 1 million coins minted in a reserve proof finish. 2018 is the official bullion circulation year of the coin and 2019 continues this series.
Government-backed bullion is always a good addition to anyone's stack, especially at 99.9% pure silver, you will usually get slightly above spot when selling back to the market. A good looking coin to boot.
