Hello Numsmatic World! Presenting to all of you my first Carulos IIII coin as well as my first silver coin with cop marks.
Chop marks are indentations that were stamped or embossed onto coins that are usually in chinese characters.
This is done by oriental merchanants to validate not only its silver content but also its weight.
For many collectors chop marks are considered damage or defects that obliterates the beauty of the coin.
Then there are others who praise the Chop Marks as a historical part of the coins’ international journey. I maybe not one of those, but i guess having one as part of my collection is pretty cool.

STAY Calm and KEEP Stacking
