It's no news that hunt, with a market cap of about one million dollars, is one of the best performing dApps on the steem blockchain with the inclusion of notable dApps like dlike, steemit, esteem among others also making that list.
The hackathon prize up for grabs is 200,000 naira (two hundred thousand naira).
"The hackathon aims at bringing out the genius in computer scientists and ICT savvy individuals. On the long run, we aim at making Nigerians a major part of the blockchain/cryptocurrency sphere through the hackathon,"
While this might seem like a small step for some, this is a huge step for Nigeria as a whole, channeling resources into human development policies.
We also recently readied our google form for non steemians who will surely be a major part of this event. Our target is 500-1,000 attendees and it'll be a success if we can create a wave of technological consciousness in seemingly dormant minds.
