National Institute of Fashion Technology is going to develop sizing standards using 25000 men and women in the age group of 15 to 65 years.
Full body scanning machines will be set up at cities of Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Shillong so that body measures of people of various ethnicity will be collected and accurate 3D body measurements will be used for building a database of measurements.
