I will write about the best decks, trucks, wheels etc. I hope this will help you with buying a new skateboard. First up the deck, so the deck doesn't matter as much because most decks are the same with 7 plys of canadian maple wood. But my favourite decks are RELAXCREW deck they are made in my country (Slovenia) the reason for it being my favourite is they have lasted longest out of all deck I've had till now. Here is one:

But for decks you can buy anything from a decent company so don't buy ones from toy stores or something. Just make sure you buy the right size, I ride 8.00 I really just fell good so maybe try your friends first or something.
Then for trucks, my favourite are independent but they are expensive, but if you really want good ones these are the ones to buy since they last very long, or thunder, venture and avenue are good especially avenue since they have springs to absorb impact.
Then we have wheels, and the only ones I recomend are bones. For the wheels I will only recomend bones because they are the only ones I've had for 2 or 3 years and are like brand new, all the others got flat spots in a week or month (a flat spot is a part of the wheel that is flat and slows you down)
Next is bearings, the best for a affordable price are BONES REDS but if you want the best but also spend a lot of money then buy swiss bones or swiss bones ceramics.
Last but not least is grip tape, my favourites are MOB, grizzly and shake just they re probably the best and fairly similar to each other.
