I was introduced to SMART cash by @broncnutz and @hannahlicious, you should definitely check them out if you haven't already, whom both did great video's explaining the coin and the more I looked into it, the more impressed I was. Hannah was even giving away FREE SMART on her post here
SmartCash is a community focused, working product, that is passionate about solving real world problems through blockchain technology. They have an ambitious road map for 2018 and if they do accomplish these goals, I don't see why it would not be a top ten coin, especially considering other coins are already there with no working product. One of the first things that grabbed my attention was the ability to earn a passive income just holding a 1000 coins (currently $175us) in your wallet and master nodes are only $1750, whats not to like about that?
What separates and makes SMART very unique from other crypto currencies is features, such as the SmartHive. It lets the community share ideas and proposals by providing solutions to real world problems, marketing strategies to promote growth of the project or help communities. In fact anything can be suggested and it's the SMART coin holders
that get to decide on it, even if you only hold one coin you voice can be heard.
The close relationship between the developers and the community is also something, I believe, that makes this project special and there also constant competitions, here on steemit, where you can win cold hard SMART coins.
GETTING SMART COINS
Stop throwing your money at the screen, you need to purchase them from an exchange and this leads me into an improvement opportunity for SMART. It is troublesome to buy and that suggests to me that it may be the reason it isn't already in the top ten. Now, I am the first to admit that I am definitely NOT the most tech savvy guy to walk the earth but I am little more switched on than the general public with sort of thing and it was painful to say the least. I decided I would buy off crypto-bridge and so created an account only to realise that I needed to first get coins onto Bitshares to be able to trade them. It took way to long and way to much brain power and hopefully be resolved shortly or at least made clearer in the future. Once I had my coins, I simply sent them over, and very cheaply I might add, to my SMART REWARDS web wallet and they have been sitting their waiting to see how many passive coins I make at the end of this month.
Thanks for reading
