In my previous post about interesting eggs, I had talked about the kinds of eggs that different birds lay and how they can come in different shapes, sizes and especially in various vivid and attractive colors. Well, the same goes for the feathers that cover their body, with each bird having a uniquely distinct pattern and appearance of its plumage which provides these feathery aerial and terrestrial beings their unique look. While we can see these feathers on the bodies of real birds, sometimes we get to lay eyes on feathers plucked from their bodies too, like in the case of the below photos, which show different kind of owl feathers and were taken at the same exhibit where the eggs in my previous post were displayed.
As you can notice in the above pictures, even within the owl family you can see so much variation in the kind of feather that covers their body.
Have you seen these owl feathers before?
Thank you for reading!
