Ever want to be rewarded for the time that you spend playing your favorite games? If you haven't ever thought of that, now that I've brought it up, wouldn't it be nice? I'm sure many of us have spent many hours playing games that don't reward you monetarily for the time that you spend playing them (which is why your Mom might have told you that they were a waste of time). With the rise of crypto, more and more games like Axie Infinity, Splinterlands, and Thetan Arena are coming into prominence, attempting to solve this problem.
For some of us, this transition is not enough. What about our favorite non-crypto games? Wouldn't it be something if we could get paid playing COD all night with our buddies, or Rocket League? And what if you didn't even have to be the best at those games to get paid? Too good to be true, right?
Not quite.
Ever since the Nintendo 3DS version of Super Smash Brothers was out, I was in love with the game. It far exceeded any other game in my eyes, and by the time Smash Ultimate had come out, I had picked it up competitively. Naturally, I was never the best at Ultimate, and so I never got paid for my efforts. That is, not until I became of MoneyMatchGaming's eSports team.
As it turns out, @moneymatchgaming (discord, twitter) is a forward-thinking organization that is inclined towards rewarding players for playing games that they love. In order to do this, MMG utilizes crypto profits from deFi and staking rewards, acting as a DAO. MMG currently supports Smash and Halo Infinite but is looking to expand in other areas of gaming. On top of this, MMG provides plenty of opportunities for its community to learn and earn.
I got involved with the MMG community about a year ago as a complete noob in terms of crypto and have come so far. I've made hundreds from not just playing Smash, but also knowing how to invest the money that I've earned. On top of this, I've earned hundreds more from playing other games like Axie Infinity and Gods Unchained that I would never have come to know about or enjoy if it weren't for MMG. So what do you say?
