Flowers bloomed above the blades of grass. The blossoms of daisy's and buttercups sent waves across the meadow and a cool breeze came down from the hillside. They swayed like they were dancing to a tune in the wind.
At the far end of the meadow a log wood house hid itself in the shade of three Apple tree's. The afternoon sun just about to breach the shadows that covered the house. Made the shadows surrounding it dance, giving the appearance the house itself was dancing with the blooms of flowers dancing in the meadow breeze.

That's the house were Snook lived. The local kids called her fairy Snook, cause her apple tree's always seemed to have apples on them. Maybe it was because they didn't have to spend their pocket money for apples like in the grocery store that made them taste better. Or maybe it was Snook always told them only one a day, save the others for when your back this way.

In the back room eyes were dancing behind closed lids. Dreaming of other things we can only imagine at. A banging at the front door broke the dreams. Whoever it was was going to get an earful and probably a smack in the jaw too. Snook wasn't in the mood to be woken up. She donned her housecoat and deliberately stomped her feet as she walked to the front door. If this isn't the parcel she wanted someone was going to be black and blue. She swung the door open with What The F* on the tip of her tongue. Before the word came out she realised it was the Miller guy, Jack.

He would get an earful, but the smack in the jaw would have to pass. The giant of a man Jack was Snook would not be able to reach his jaw. "What the Fuk Jack".. "It's not even 2PM."

"Yeah, Hey Snook,".. "Just on me way down to the shop, wondering if you need anythin pickin up?".. "Last time I was here you said you were gettin low to tobacca."

"Jack, that was two weeks ago," "Come in, come in, have a cup coffee and let me let my head adjust."
Jack sat at the kitchen table while Snook put the kettle on and went to get dressed.

"I didn't realise the time" Jack shouted after Snook. Something got mumbled back that Jack thought best not to ask what was said.

Snook returned to the kitchen, made two cups of coffee and put a few cookies on a plate. She sat opposite Jack at the table and asked. "Okay, what has you waking me up at this ungodly hour?"

Jack took a sip of his coffee and said, "Jeazus Papa bear coffee"

Snook look bemused, laughed and asked, "Papa bear coffee?"

"Hot, The coffee's just a bit too hot" Jack replied. "Yea, I'm just on me way down the shops, need to pick me up some groceries. I was passing by and wondered if ye needed anything down there." Jack picked up a cookie and dipped it in his coffee.

As Jack dipped cookies into his coffee, Snook made up a short list of things for Jack to pick up. When she finished she said. "I better add a pack of cookies to the list, You made short work of those"

Jack finished of his coffee and said "Baby Bear Coffee, Just right" He took Snook's grocery list and said, "I'll see ye in an hour then."

"No No!" Snook quickly said, "I'll be busy for the afternoon, I have things to do. Drop them back later this evening. That way I'll be sure not to miss you". "Grab an apple from the tree on the right on your way out. Those ones taste really good right now."

"Will do" Said Jack as he made his way out and off to the shop.

Snook picked up the two cups and plate from the table, put them in the sink. Poured one cup of coffee away, Snooks cup which she didn't drink and Snook snuck back off to bed for an hour.
