With the kitchen cleared, Snook returned to her bedroom and peaked through the curtains, making sure Jack was on his way.

Jack closed the front door behind him and headed off to the shop, turned around and went back to the tree on the right with the good tasting apples. Plucking an apple and placing it in his pocket. Reaching up again and plucking a second, he heard a voice come from behind the apple tree.

Snook seen Jack take two apples and thought to herself the f'er. She didn't like swearing. But thinking the words was allowed. The top window was slightly open and she heard a little voice pipe up.

Two kids, Indy and Bliss came out from behind the tree.
"We're going to tell on you, you took more than one apple" "Fairy Snook won't be happy with you, and she will do magic and you won't be able to get any more apples".

"Huh? Fairy Snook? What The F" Jack bit his tongue and then said, "What the fairy do ye mean?"

Snook had to cover her mouth so they wouldn't hear her laugh. Both the kids and Jack.

Indy spoke up. "You're only allowed one apple a day" Bliss joined in. "Yea, and if you take two, Fairy Snook will do magic and make it so you don't see the apples any more."

"Oh I'm allowed to take two" Jack said.

Both Indy and Bliss snapped back. "No your not, that's cheating."

Playing into Fairy Snook theme, Jack quickly replied, " I can take two cause one is not for me. One apple is for making magic, I am a wizard you see"

Indy "No your not, you're just saying that so we won't tell." Bliss "You don't look like a wizard, If you're a wizard, then do some magic."

Doing his thinking while the kids were interrogating him. Jack said. "Well I can't actually do magic right now cause I haven't brewed any magic up yet. I need to get the apple to the magic realm first.

Indy. "How do you get there" "Is it Far?" "Can we Go?" " Will you take us?"

"Getting there you need to open a magic door or portal that let's you pass through" "But, you don't need a portal to send things there." "That can be done with a kind of wish, you really really want something to go there for all the good reasons and it goes. That's what I was going to do with the second apple."

Indy. "Okay show us then. Make the apple go there if you really are a wizard."

Jack. "Watch this then" Jack drew back his hand to throw the apple, Slowly moving it forward he told them. "Watch as it leaves my hand it will disappear" " It takes concentration." Jack drew back his hand again and moved faster the second time. "Just getting my aim." "The third time he drew back be Swung forward like he was throwing a baseball. "Just lining up the aim" The fourth time as he drew his hand back over his shoulder he dropped the apple into his hood and swung fast without the apple. "There ye go, Gone to the magic realm were it will turn into magic. Fruit magic is one of the strongest".

Looking at the dropped jaws of amazement and wonder, Jack said. "Now you can't tell anyone I am a wizard." "We should keep it our secret."

Indy. "Does Fairy Snook know you are a wizard?"
Bliss "Can we tell her?"

Jack. "Yes you can tell Fairy Snook if she doesn't know already. But you can only tell other Fairy Snook cause she's a Fairy" The excitement in their young faces was enough to warm any heart.

"Well Kids. I must be going I have things to do. Have you guys had an apple today?"

Indy. "No we still waiting"

Jack. "Waiting? Waiting for what?"

Bliss. " We have to wait for an apple to fall. We can't reach up that high."

Jack. "Well, Let me grab one down for each of you." Jack reached up grabbed two more Apples and gave Indy and Bliss one each. "Now you kid's scarper off home before your Mom misses you."

As the kid's went on their way, Jack tuned back to head of to the shops. Snook still peered from behind the curtain and once gain giggled to herself as she watched jack skip and jump around the flowers through the meadow. So Tough nut Jack has a soft heart she thought.
