The picnic was in full swing and not just swinging on the tyre. Snook was fairying around making sure no one was left out. Jack was making coins disappear and reappear. Move from one pocket to another and then reappear behind someones ear. Even the adults were captured by Jacks magic and asking how he did that.

Feeling brave Jack said he would try it with something else other than a coin. If there was something they would like to see disappear. One of the men offered up his ring and Jack began his ritual. This time instead of retrieving the ring, Jack said, "Opps, Something must have gone wrong." Apologising he said, "I never done it with a ring before." A few chuckles and a worried look on the owners face. "Let me try this" "Okay that didn't work."

Jack gestured to the man's wife behind his back to pass her the ring. He pushed the ring onto her finger and carried on with his confusion of where the ring had gone. Eventually saying, "Maybe if you hold the hand of the one you love, that might help, Love is a very powerful thing."

He took up his wife's hand and relief came over his whole body as he noticed the ring on her finger. "How the hell did you get the ring there."

Jack. "That's the magic of love." The wife just smiled and did not give Jack's magic away. Later when Jack found her away from her hubby. he said. "You should always keep that magic moment magic." She replied, "Oh I will, that was priceless."

Jack took a break from the parents. He went to the slide and was pushing the kids back up the slide as they came down. At one point he was pushing three boys up the slide instead of them sliding down.

The parents gathered themselves on the porch enjoying slices of apple pie it seemed most.

The Slide and tyre swing was dominated by the boys. Under the apple tree Fairy Snook had most of the girls gathered around her. The girls were running off to the meadow and coming back with daisies and buttercups.

Snook was making Princess tiara's from the daisies and buttercups the children brought to her. The girls were calling them Fairy Snookatiara's.

Indy came up to Jack as he was at the slide and asked if he could have an apple.

Jack. "Sure, Sure go ahead, there's loads over there on the table"

Indy. "Can I have one from the magic apple tree instead?"

Jack didn't have the heart to say they were all the same. So he said "sure, Give me a minute lad and I will be right over." That minute only lasted a second as everyone around the slide wanted a magic apple then.

As they reached the apple tree Jack noticed that there was no apples in reach. Even the branches he could reach and pull down were bare of apples. "Looks like we have a problem here lads."

A voice from behind him asked. "Can you wizard them down Mr Jack?"

Jack. "Wizard them down eh." " Turning to face the boys he said. "We could do that. But the adults over there would just keep asking for magic then." Snook could hear all this as she sat beneath the tree. She could not help herself, and shouted to Jack. "Told you," Then she turned to the girls and said "Jacks going to get apples from the tree." Turning back to Jack she said. "You're on the spot now" and went to join the other parents on the porch.

The parents and Snook looked on as Snook explained what had just gone down. The kids looking up to Jack with faces of can you do it. Jack thought of throwing sticks up to knock the apples down, but figured the stick is bound to fall on one of the kids and then he won't be so cool anymore.

Jack asked if someone would ask Fairy Snook if she had a blanket he could borrow.

Bliss. "Yes Sir Wizard, eh I mean Mr Jack. Is it Mr or Wizard?"

Jack. "It can be either when there is no adults around" and he winked down at the kids.

Bliss ran off and asked Fairy Snook for a blanket.

Snook. "A blanket, what would you want a blanket for?"

Bliss leaned over and whispered into Snook's ear. "It's for wizard Jack"

Snook. "Oh, I see, let me go grab you one.

Bliss returned with a rose coloured blanket and passed it to Jack.

Jack asked for everyone to grab a side of the blanket to catch the apples that came down.

Jack blessed himself and then hoisted himself up to a branch and walking his feet up the trunk of the tree. Thinking to himself, This is not as easy as I thought it would be. He reached up with one hand and grabbed a higher branch and the worked his way up the tree a bit and began dropping apples into the blanket. He dropped a couple of dozen apples down and thought that should be enough. "You kids share those out and tell me if we are short any."

Snook thought Jacks been up that tree for a while. Maybe he thinks he is Jack and the beanstalk. She went over to the tree, shouted up to Jack. "You okay up there?"

Jack. "Yea I'm fine up here. Just not sure how to get down from here"

Snook. "Ha" "I can ask if one of the parents have a ladder"

Jack. "I don't think they have one in their back pocket" Jack began to climb down. Standing on the lowest branch. "This is the hard part. The drop from here" Then he decided to move along to the tyre swing and use that to guide himself down. "Never had a doubt." He said when his feet touched ground.

Snook called everyone over to the porch and asked them to sit if they wanted to hear a story. To smiles of delight and questions of what story, they all sat. Snook read for them the story of Captain Jasper and the pirates shadow.

Just as the story ended. A man in a suit walked up the pathway from the road. "Quite the family" "Do you all live here".

Snook. "How can I help you" She stood and walked toward the stranger.

Ben. "My names Ben Roper, I represent Farouche resorts. I am authorised to give you a good price for this piece of land." "Are those real?" "The wings. They look very real".

Snook. "Don't worry about the wings and the land is not for sale."

Ben. "I am authorised to offer you 15% above market value"

Snook. "Mr Roper, there are some things you cannot put a price to. This land is one of them I assure you.

Ben. "In exceptional cases, I can go to a higher price"

Snook. "Did you not hear what I just said" "It's not for sale at any price."

Jack. walked up behind Snook to make sure everything was okay.

Ben. If I could just give you an estimate of what you are turning down."

Snook. I told you, It NOT! for sale."

Ben. "Are you the man of the house sir?"

Jack. " No I am the man who is going to escort you promptly off the property if you don't turn and leave now"

Ben. "Sir, if"... before another word came out Jack took a step toward him and Ben quickly turned and made his way back down the pathway. If he walked any faster he would be running.

Snook and jack returned to their guests. The parents asked if everything was okay. Both Snook and Jack assured them everything was fine. The parents said thanks for a great day. They thought the kids really enjoyed it. They should be getting off home though and get some of the kids back to the parents that were not able to come and enjoy the picnic.
