West Ham United switched home to the London Olympic Stadium in 2016.
The arena that was the centerpiece of last year's summer Olympics will have a capacity of 54,000 spectators when converted to use in the Premier League. West Ham has got a lease agreement for 99 years.
It was spent £ 4.8 billion on building the Olympic arena, so it was important to find a tenant who regularly can draw large crowds to a former "forgotten" corner of East London.
At the same time, the company responsible for the London Stadium, London Legacy Development Corporation, has ensured that British taxpayers will benefit from a possible win. West Ham owners David Gold and David Sullivan will receive if they sell the club over the next 10 the years.
