When you hear the word 'social dynamics' it feels a little daunting, no?
The word dynamics seems like something you hear in a physics class.
But what does physics mean?
Physics: The branch of science concerned with the nature & properties of matter & energy.
If you look closer, it's the same thing with the social dynamics world.
This is a world that is concerned with the nature & properties of human behavior & interaction.
2 variables that consist of matter & energy.
Without physics, it is hard to see anything but a chaotic world.
But with physics, the subject is able to find patterns & data to make sense of the chaos.
The same thing is applicable to the social world.
Without social laws, you will find yourself being pulled by chaos.
You chill with toxic people.
You try to fix humans.
You weigh words over actions.
But with a few social laws?
You chill with the right people.
You stop trying to fix people & instead enhance yourself.
You weigh actions over words.
The social laws are unique to each human.
My laws may not necessarily coincide with yours & yours may not coincide with mine.
But if we are like minded, then there will be a few/many overlaps.
You don't need a bunch of laws to follow, but you need some.
It was Jim Rohn who said:
You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.
