I always wear a Swiss army knife in my belt or carry this difference when I'm at work. I don't understand why everyone doesn't do it to be honest.

It's very handy to have a small toolbox in your pocket. Everyone at my workplace knows I have tools in my pocket, so if I can use my knives, scissors, pliers, screwdrivers, I get daily demands. I had plenty of opportunities to save the days.
This is my backup device on my key ring. The tools are small, so they are used only as office use or as a substitute. I like to have this built-in LED light and pen. I need to sign something, but I can use this pen without a pen. Backup light is also very useful for emergencies.
I have all the tools I need, not more. I carry this in my belt when I'm not at work. It is used for many random things like opening cardboard boxes or letters from the mailbox, squeezing the screws around the house, cutting wires, opening bottles.

As a technician I use the swisstool spirit very often. I took all the tools I needed with a small vehicle. Pliers are more useful for heavier jobs, but I prefer the Swiss Army Knife at home or on the road.
