Living here on this spinning globe we tend to think of ourselves as the centre of the universe, that's a little self centered when you take moment to ponder NASA's newly released picture of Earth from 39.5 million miles away

See that white dot in the middle of the picture? That's us in the dark expanse that is space baby! Our moon is just to the right, that little spec you can barely make out 😐
That snap was from one of NASA's space probes named Osiris Rex. It's flying around the galaxy for 505 days before it's scheduled to return to Earth.

That picture is the furthest away our home planet has been photographed and it really does a great job of showing just how tiny we are in the big scheme of things.
