The team of astronomers of the Southern European observatory (ESO) by means of the VLT telescope (Very Large Telescope) and the FORS2 spectrograph installed on him has found titanium dioxide, water and sodium in the atmosphere of the exoplanet of WASP-19b.
The planet of WASP-19b is from Earth at a distance of 815 light years and by the sizes is comparable to Jupiter. However, unlike him she makes a revolution around Sun in only 19 hours. The atmosphere of the planet – the real underworld heated up to 2000 °C.
