Blaming Manufacturers For Your Phone Crashing? Don't, "Outer Space ...

I bet everybody has experience of their phone, or computer crashing at some point, when it becomes practically unusable till you reboot (or in many cases take the battery out to do so) before you can use it again.

And I am pretty sure you were cursing the manufacturers of the device/software while at it!

But hold on, a new study reveals that cosmic particles, originating outside of the solar system may be responsible for the computer, and other electronic device crashes, we mortals have to suffer here on earth, and not the manufacturers!

According to this study, "alien subatomic particles", which are from outside of our solar system and electrically charged, pour down on us from space and are responsible for inflicting this pain on regular users of electronic devices.

To articulate the researchers, I quote below a part of the article which explains some concepts they have proposed:

The Earth's atmosphere is hit by cosmic rays traveling at the speed of light. These rays generate a chute of inferior particles like pions, muons, neutrons and several alpha particles.
However, out of the millions of generated particles, only a fraction are known to transfer energy which interferes with the device's integrated circuits. As a result, this interference is able to alter the data stored in the memory of the device. This is known as SEU (Single-Event Upset).

So the next time your computer/smart-phone crashes, or hangs, remember the cause is not human, but extraterrestrial rays from the heavens, which are to blame!
