We watched a pathetic video clip yesterday: a Russian soldier sitting in a wheelchair on stage with Putin giving a short speech to an audience about how honored he was to have had the opportunity to serve in Putin’s Special Military Operation. The soldier, who had no legs and no arms, never smiled once not even when he informed the audience that his wife has to feed him. Putin clapped and gave the soldier a big smile.
You can be sure there were negotiations that took place before the speech. Likely, Putin promised the soldier that if he gave the speech he would get all his bills paid and his wife would get a free, lifetime supply of toilet paper.
Here is an idea: We get Elon Musk to take a billion out of his $200 billion nest egg and build a voice-command-controlled robot (the MuskBot) that the Russian soldier can be plumbed into eliminating the need for his wife to have to deal with all that toilet paper. The Russian people will love Elon Musk for his compassion and may even offer him the position of President of Russia after which the people of Russia will be working with the rest of the people on SpaceShipEarth to become a space age SuperWorld.
