It looks like another scam is making the rounds on HIVE again. Spambots are commenting with promises of an airdrop, and include a sketchy outside link.
If you follow links from spammers, your browser may not protect your data. Your account will definitely be hijacked into the spam botnet if you surrender your Posting key. Using your Active key means your wallet contents are at risk. Using your Owner key means your account may not be recoverable without your master password. If you gave that password, say goodbye to everything.
If you already got phished, log into your account directly at https://wallet.hive.blog and click "Change Password." For PeakD, read here or here for instructions to change your keys. Write down the new passwords/keys and store them somewhere safe! Set a recovery account while you're at it. Choose someone you know in person if at all possible. In any case, make sure it's someone you can reach in an emergency like this and verify your identity to them.
Remember:
Any airdrop which requires any of your private keys is a phishing scam. There are no exceptions beyond a very public hard fork like when we split HIVE from STEEM.
Sites that look like a HIVE frontend or Hivesigner but don't show the proper URL and a security icon in your browser address bar are spoofing the site. If an unexpected login request pops up, always check that address bar and make sure you're where you think you should be first (hive.blog, peakd.com, ecency.com, etc.).
Promises of massive payouts should always ring alarm bells, and if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
When in doubt, check the suspected scammer's comment history and see if the same nonsense has been repeated over and over. It's usually a vague complement that has nothing to do with post content and segues immediately to the scam sales pitch. Don't be greedy. Don't be dumb. Stay safe out there.
Please downvote such spam comments if you find them in the wild. Share warnings in reply, or even just a link to this post, to alert the unwary.
