Quisiera tener una estadística pero la perdí. Puedo decir qué de cada historia tenemos un millón de personas que pasan por lo mismo. Solo recuerdo que estaba en un gran patio en el centro psiquiátrico, geriátrico ya todos juntos. Ese día era igual que todos, entré saludé igual que siempre. Los deprimidos, los que su familiares se han ido, los niños abandonados, violados quemados con o sin culpa.
Mujeres de la vida alegre y hombres contagiados de sida sin saber que decir a sus esposas. Los que no se ocupan de sus esposas por estar en casa de sus padres ya de manera obsesiva creyendo que van a morir y deben cumplir olvidando a sus esposas, estas a su vez sumergidas en depresiones. Los hijos que se sienten menos por madres con preferencias y atenciones a otros hijos dejando a estos abandonados, solo son tomados en cuenta para humillarlos. Mujeres y hombres que no saben que hacer con sus hijos con algún síndrome, sintiéndose culpables, paralizados del miedo.
Ese día mi corazón y alma no aguantó tantas historias, mi mente se sintió afectada. Recuerdo un momento en el cual escuchaba una historia de alguien que venía de la cárcel, mencionó que estaba en ese lugar ya que en la cárcel lo diagnosticaron con esquizofrenia luego de cortar la cabeza a su compañero de la penitenciaria. Caí de mis pies, recuerdo su historia macabra y su risa de medio lado... Sus ojos desorbitados.
Me adentré en su mirada, me perdí en su historia la cual hacia mención de ver cada día a sus padres dedicando tiempo a todo el mundo, sumergidos en sus trabajos y amistades, aparentando lo que no eran, metidos en deudas y fiestas para aparentar hasta el final, resolviendo los problemas de cualquier persona, dejando a un lado con cualquiera para ser cuidado, violado, su historia reflejaba dolor, odio todas las emociones. Sus manos estaban marcadas con tatuajes pude leer en su brazo ese nombre lo último que vi antes de desmayarme... Leonardo ese es el nombre de mi hijo solo 20 años más joven que yo.
Me encuentro en este lugar de descanso preparando mi vida para ver si me da tiempo de volver y salvar su vida y quitarme este cargo de conciencia que no me deja casi respirar. ¡Perdón hijo! ¡Perdón hijo!.. que estos gritos lleguen a tu alma hijo amado, hijo querido. De alguna manera tenia que despertar de mi orgullo y vanidad por ser reconocido en esta sociedad te he perdido mi bello hijo. Seguiré organizando mis ideas o quizá no vuelva.
I can remember many stories, always with the same background, the unfaithful woman, the unfaithful man, parents talking about their children, children talking about their parents, women with other women's husbands and others telling how other women took their husbands away from them. Over and over again, the drug addict, the sexual deviant, the greedy, the homosexual, the transvestite, the mannered and more.
<I wish I had a statistic but I lost it. I can tell you that in every story we have a million people going through the same thing. I just remember I was in a big yard at the psychiatric center, geriatric already together. That day I was just like everyone else, I went in and said hello just like I always do. The depressed, the ones whose relatives have left, the abandoned children, the raped ones, burned with or without guilt.
Women of happy life and men infected with AIDS not knowing what to say to their wives. Those who do not take care of their wives because they are already obsessively at home with their parents, believing that they will die and must comply by forgetting their wives, these in turn are immersed in depressions. The children who feel less for mothers with preferences and attentions to other children leaving these abandoned, are only taken into account to humiliate them. Women and men who do not know what to do with their children with some syndrome, feeling guilty, paralyzed by fear.
That day my heart and soul could not stand so many stories, my mind was affected. I remember a moment when I was listening to a story about someone who came from prison, he mentioned that he was in that place because in prison he was diagnosed with schizophrenia after cutting the head of his partner in prison. I fell off my feet, I remember his macabre story and his half-sided laugh... His glaring eyes.
I went into his eyes, I lost myself in his story which mentioned seeing his parents every day dedicating time to everyone, immersed in their jobs and friendships, pretending what they were not, getting into debt and parties to pretend until the end, solving anyone's problems, leaving aside anyone to be cared for, raped, his story reflected pain, I hate all emotions. His hands were marked with tattoos I could read on his arm that name the last thing I saw before I passed out... Leonardo, that's my son's name, only 20 years younger than me.
I find myself in this resting place preparing my life to see if I have time to come back and save his life and take away this charge of conscience that leaves me almost no breathing. Forgive me son! Forgive me son!.. may these cries reach your soul beloved son, dear son. Somehow I had to wake up from my pride and vanity to be recognized in this society I have lost you my beautiful son I will continue to organize my ideas or I may not come back.
