The community where I live has excellent water service, but with a small problem: when the service is suspended and then restored, the water comes with a lot of pressure and that is causing problems at home. In particular, the hoses to my sinks and dishwasher have been breaking frequently.

I remember that the last time I bought hoses, they were plastic and cost about 80 bolivars for the dollar exchange rate, but they didn't last me more than three months. That's frustrating! So, yesterday I decided to buy better quality hoses, galvanized and flexible, which cost me 612 bolivars each. Although it was a bigger expense, it seems it was worth it because I fixed the hose and now I have water in the sink.
Recuerdo que la última vez que compre las mangueras, eran de plástico y te costaron unos 80 bolívares para el cambio del dolar, pero no me duraron más de tres meses. ¡Eso es frustrante! Entonces, ayer decidí comprar mangueras de mejor calidad, galvanizadas y flexibles, que me costaron 612 bolívares cada una. Aunque fue un gasto mayor, parece que valió la pena porque arreglé la manguera y ahora tengo agua en el lavamanos.
It seems incredible to me that I managed to fix everything by myself. The fact that the man at the hardware store was kind enough to take care of me and recommended me the best, which I also considered an important detail, explained to me the simplicity of fear and encouraged me to give it a try.
Me parece increíble que haya podido logrado arreglar todo es yo sola. El hecho de que el señor de la ferretería me haya atendido con amabilidad y me haya recomendado lo mejor, también lo considere detalle importante me explico la simplicidad de asusto y me anime a intentarlo.
Now that I have the hose fixed, I hope to be able to enjoy my time at home without problems. I congratulate myself for becoming a proactive woman and solving the problem on my own! Maybe for someone else it is insignificant but for me it was a great achievement.
