Today we are going to perform one of the technology experiments, a homemade speaker.
Home speaker experiment materials:
- Glass of cardboard (polystyrene foam).
- Magnet.
- A 3.5 mm mono audio jack. You can one of a few headphones by cutting them and connecting the two positives.
- Enameled copper wire. You can remove it from a transformer, from a coil, or buy it from the electronics store.
- Adhesive tape and an ice cream stick.
- Tweezers to be able to connect the cables (crocodile clips).
How to make a home speaker:
Let's start building our home amplifier. First we are going to make a coil with the copper thread, making a circle with about 4 cm of copper on each side.
We place the clamps on the ends of the coil and connect the audio cable.
We place the magnet on the coil and with the sticks of ice cream we attach it to the glass.
We already have our home speaker ready for mobile or mp3.
