When I am tired or stressed I get a lot of benefits by relaxing at the sound of the gong.

The gong is an ancient instrument with healing properties. It produces a strong sound wave, which stimulates the body by influencing the surface of the skin. It is believed to release tensions and blocks and stimulating the glandular and nervous systems.
The gong is believed to be particularly effective for neck pain and headaches, cramping in the chest and upper respiratory system. Many Yoga teachers believe that the gong sound replicates the first sound of the universe when it was created and acts like the voice of a parent who gave the birth to our minds.
