The sacred oracle at Delphi lives in the heart of Mount Parnassus, an archeological site located at the Omphalos, the navel centre of the world. In the atmosphere of the mountains, it's clear why Delphi is home to the solar Gods and Goddesses of ancient Greece, and to great initiates like Plato. I wondered about the many pilgrims who traveled to these grounds, through hardship and impossibility, in search of healing. Doesn't the pilgrim live within each one of us? The one who crosses the oceans and lands within ourselves to be nearer to the source of our origins. Who do we meet when we arrive at this sacred place? What sacrifices are made so that we may bury our burdens into the earth. How many times have we walked toward the knowledge of ourselves, toward the recognition of our own transparent face: The one who lives by the light of the truth, and who was created in the likeness of the sun.
