I Became Lucid This Morning!
I've spent thousands of years trying to achieve this. Trial and error every day. Mistake after mistake. Fail after fail.
But I kept on going anyways, because I knew I'll achieve it if I don't stop!
Okay, it actually took me like 15 days to achieve this, but I wanted to have the ability to lucid dream for a few years now. I just never took enough action to do it, until now...
Finally, it happened this morning! I realized I'm dreaming and I took control of my dreams!
How did it feel? Well... It fucking SUCKED!
NOT! It was really amazing. I can't believe how real it felt. It was just like real life. All the sensations and feelings were there.
I've read a lot about this and most people say that they wake up immediately once they realize the're dreaming, so I didn't expect that my first time will be any different.
But, once I became aware that I'm dreaming, I actually stayed calm so I wouldn't wake up.
My first time lucid dreaming was much more than what I expected, since I didn't only have one lucid dream... No no no!
I had like 5 lucid dreams this morning!
Each of them lasted like 20 minutes, but it felt much longer in the dream world. I didn't have full control of my dreams though...
I mean, I tried to make certain objects or scenery to appear, but it didn't work most of the time. But I was expecting this, because it's probably impossible to have full control of your dreams within the first attempt.
It will take some time until I master this ability!
How Did It Happen?
So, this morning I tried to do something different than usual. I always wake up after 4 hours of sleep to perform the WILD method.
I think the main mistake was that performed this method right after I woke up. This time, I stayed up for 30 minutes before doing it.
I was still in my bed, but I opened up my phone and started reading about lucid dreaming. I've read some articles and also some dreams from my journal.
Then, I put my phone aside and tried to perform the WILD method. This time I had more intense experience with it than ever.
I wasn't moving for like 5 minutes and my hands went extremely numb. I knew I could still move them if I wanted, but they were the most numb I've ever felt.
Then, after like 10 minutes, my whole body instantly got really really light, and I got shocked. I had a full body shock, but I still didn't move.
I think I ruined it with this shock, because I didn't move for 20 more minutes, but I slowly started feeling my hands again. Then I got uncomfortable and I decided to change my position.
I checked the time and I wasn't moving for 40 minutes! I though, this method is not gonna work ever!
But anyways, I've read about a different method yesterday, which is called the FILD method. With this method, you basically have to imagine you're playing a piano and you have to send signals to two of your fingers.
You don't actually have to move the fingers, but you must send the signals as if you were doing it for real.
This is where it gets interesting. As I was imagining that I'm moving my fingers, I absolutely cleared my mind and I was basically thinking about nothing!
I had no thoughts, I only focused on sending the signals. I felt extremely relaxed within seconds.
And this is where it happened! I did a reality check. I closed my nose with my hand and I tried breathing through it. And it worked!
I immediately realized than I'm in a dream now...
What Did I Do In My Dreams?
So, when I realized I'm dreaming, I slowly opened my eyes. I thought I'll actually awake from my dream if I open my eyes, but I couldn't just lay there and do nothing, could I?
My dream world was... My room! How creative...
I stepped out of my bed and walked around my room. I tried doing another reality check. I tried pushing my hand through the wall, but it didn't work...
I though maybe I just woke up. But then I looked at my hand and I tried counting my fingers. I couldn't do it!
Sometimes it seemed like there were 5 fingers, but sometimes I counted 6! My hand looked very very weird and I had no more doubts... I was really aware that I'm dreaming!
Then, I tried jumping so I could fly, but I couldn't float in air no matter how hard I tried... Then I tried making a sword appear in my hand, but this didn't work either.
Later I woke up, but I didn't move and immediately did the FILD method again!
And it worked flawlessly! I did a reality check and I was dreaming.
But this time, I managed to imagine a scenery and I appeared there. I was in a restaurant. Why did I want to be there?
Because I've read that you can actually feel taste if you eat food. So, I ordered a burger! Yeah, I could've just made one appear in my hands, but I ordered it.
So, I got the burger and started eating it! It felt so amazing, because I actually felt the taste! I can now fill myself with junk food without having any regrets, because it's only in my dreams.
And I'll have the same satisfaction as if I was eating it in real life!
Though the burger wasn't very tasty. But then I found some chocolate eggs, and they looked just like the one's I actually eaten the day before.
And guess what? It had the same taste! They were fucking delicious...
But then I woke up again...
I Continued Dreaming!
Immediately as I woke up, I did the FILD method once again and it worked in a matter of seconds!
This time, I was in a room with my parents. I told my mom that we are actually in a dream, but she didn't believe me. My dad didn't believe it either!
I kept telling that it's true, so they told me to prove it and they will believe it.
Suddenly, I teleported to the sky and I became a space marine. Space marines are units in the game called "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War".
I loved playing that game since I was very young and space marines were my favorite kind of units I've ever seen.
So, once I became a space marine, I started flying towards the ground really fast! And then I slammed into the ground and caused a huge shockwave.
I think I destroyed everything around me. Yes, my parents were destroyed as well! But then I woke up.
This is where the it ended. I couldn't fall back to sleep anymore for like 40 minutes.
Once I fell asleep, I just had a normal dream without becoming lucid.
Also, with each lucid dream, I was hearing some music playing in my head. It sounded really good! But I don't remember if I made it happen.
What's Next?
Now that I achieved lucid dreaming, I'll still post my journey every day. Achieving lucid dreaming was only the first step.
Next, I have to master this ability, so I could actually fully control my dreams and do whatever I want.
Once I'm able to fully control my dreams, I'll try using lucid dreaming for self improvement just like I wanted from the start.
I've read a lot about it and it's said that you can actually improve real life skills if you practice then in your dreams. Plus, while you're dreaming, you are accessing your subconscious mind.

There's just so much I want to try out...
Hopefully, I'll be able to become lucid easily every night from here on out!

I Will Be Doing This Every Day!
The main reason I want to start lucid dreaming, is for self improvement. I've been reading a lot about it and studies have shown that you can actually improve certain abilities by doing it in your dreams. For example, if you wan't to learn a foreign language, you can practice it in your dreams. Since you're working with your subconscious mind while you're sleeping, you might find out that you know words that you were never aware of while conscious. It's really all up to your creativity to what you wanna learn and improve upon in your dreams. Is it basketball that you want to become better at? You can do that! Do you want to become a better fucker? Nobody is holding you back! Just make a nasty slut appear in front of you and do whatever you want with her! Apparently while sleeping, the neural pathways engaged in the activity are strengthened, and not only imagined or visualized. To achieve lucid dreaming, a lot of action has to be taken. Well... Some find it really easy to lucid dream, but most have to achieve it the hard way. It's really important to think about lucid dreaming throughout the day. This way you're telling your subconscious mind that this is what you're focusing on and what you want, thus it gives you the access to control the dream world. There are quite a few things I will be doing in order to achieve this goal! So, first of all, I will be posting my whole lucid dreaming journey here on Steemit every day. I will be writing down all of my dreams on a journal. A dream journal is basically essential if you want to achieve lucid dreaming. I will do at least 30-50 reality checks every day. Have a sleeping rhythm. That means I will be going to sleep at the same time every night. I'll also wake up at the same time every morning as well. I will also experiment with some techniques to induce lucid dreams. I won't look at any screens (computer, TV or even phone) 30-60 minutes before bed, because I've read that this helps a lot. For those 30-60 minutes I will be meditating. Talk, read and think about lucid dreaming constantly. Occasionally I will listen to lucid dreaming binaural beats and hypnosis. I will use an app called Awoken. This app is designed to help you achieve lucid dreaming. It reminds you to do reality checks throughout the day and it has a dream journal, which is where I will be writing down all my dreams when I wake up. I will experiment with the supplement called Dream Leaf, I already ordered it and I will use it when it arrives. I will take it only once or at most twice every week to see if it changes anything about my dreams and the ability to become lucid.
Tracking All My Progress!
So, like I've mentioned before, I will be tracking all my progress and I'll be posting about it every day here on Steemit. Also, after I achieve lucid dreaming, I won't stop posting about my experiences for some time still. When I achieve my goal, I will be writing down a lot of experiences that I have inside the dream world, and I'll experiment if it's actually possible to improve real life skills while sleeping. I set a personal goal to achieve lucid dreaming within 30 days starting today. I'm really excited and hopefully I'll be able to do that even faster than 30 days! This is not the first time I try to achieve lucid dreaming, but I never took it seriously and I was too inconsistent, so I never even came close to becoming lucid. But this time I'm gonna SMASH it and record the whole journey on this blockchain!
