Good morning Splinterfriends!
I came here to write an update on my path to 10k HP and a quick update on my Staked SPS journey as well!
Yesterday I was a little frustrated because I ended up with something like 7,499.78 HP and I just couldn't bring myself to claim "Yay I hit 7,500 HP"!!!
Today however... I woke up, claimed a tiny little HP reward and BOOM!!!!!
I will keep working on writing content for Soulkeep and Splinterlands to earn my bit of HP and adding Hive to my weekly DCA purchase has helped a ton too.
In fact one of the best things about Hive is that the more you interact, the better your account grows!

Apparently there is something about "voting politics" now too... where certain voting practices are frowned upon because if you vote within a 24h window... and then someone else comes along and votes... they steal the rewards from the first voter or something??
I STILL DON'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VOTING AND CURATION - but for the most part Hive is cool and worth me investing FIAT into...
But it's not all sunshine and upvotes... apparently.
Anyways - I am excited to grow my lil ol' Hive account and hopefully I'll hit that 10k HP target soon!
Let's take a look at my SPS Stake and see how that is going!
It looks like I have earned some decent Staking Rewards as well as earning a good chunk of SPS from owning a few Node Licenses.
Don't be fooled by the Soulkeep Rewards, that's actually two days worth. I place 4th or so, in two League 7 tournaments or about 425 SPS per Tournament.
I also made my weekly Land Harvest and my sla... well fed and fairly compensated workers brought in 276.52 SPS!
Hahaha that's ok though - this is about hitting my next and perhaps "Ultimate Goal" for my Staked Splintershards Balance: 1,000,000!!!!!
It took me over 3 years, a ton of DCA, promos, tournaments, battles, brawls, etc, etc, etc... but I hit the halfway milestone not too long ago... With this amount, my latest total staked SPS Balance is now:
532k SPS is not a small amount of SPS... but I am definitely not a whale... and I am quite aways off from that 1,000,000 Staked SPS goal...
However... if we pull the data from my Previously on CaptainDingusZ we can do some extrapolation to see how long this might take...
I published that post on 9/4/2024... and in that post, I posted this photo:
532,456 - 501,600 = 30,856 SPS increase in my Staked SPS Balance.
9/4/24 then, 10/21/2024 now... that is 47 days according to the calendar...
30,856/500,000 = 6.17%
47 Days = 6.17% of??? 47/.0617 = 761.75 Days until goal is achieved at current rate!!
This of course assumes all things remain relatively the same... but it looks as if some things are changing in my life for sure... my pay plan at work is changing... and I don't think for the better :(
However... if things go well in other areas... that may be irrelevant... but it is too early to tell...
Unfortunately, I have to get ready for work... I used up a big chunk of my morning free-time for this but I hope you enjoyed it! I can't wait until I hit the 10k HP Goal and really can't wait to hit the 1Mn SPS goal... although apparently... I have to wait like 2 years or so according to "The Math" 😐

Naturally, after everything leading up to this moment, I do think Splinterlands and Soulkeep are some of the BEST web3 games out there!
They bring the #play2earn feature to the forefront of development as well as many opportunities for people to earn rewards - whether Player or Investor!!
