Ladies and Gentleman... to say it has been a stressful week would be a massive understatement lol
However, the good news is things have been resolved in such a manner that it all worked out fairly well :)
Now - I've been promising a Land Update and Market Report for awhile... so here it is!!!
Let's jump into the Wilds of Praetoria and see what NEW Lands have been discovered! Lets see how the Market continues to respond to Land 1.75 and we will look at the Resources to see how they are faring!!
We have much to do and little time to do it... so without further adieu lets get to it!!

Last time, in my Land Update 3/19 we ended up here with the "Next Tract" at R143 Dryae Tor, Tract 03 and the "Next Plot" at R143 Dryae Tor, Tract 02, Plot 31...
However, with Land 1.75 getting crazy with the cheese whiz... we can see some pretty MAJOR changes have happened!!
OMG - Look!! Someone popped off a Tract!! Next Tract is 04!! Not to mention it's been 9 days and we've seen 9 Plots Claimed and Surveyed!!!
Let's go take a look and see what was found in the new Plots and go meet the new Tract Owner!!
Resuming where we left off, in Dryae Tor R143, Tract 02 Plot 30...
Ahhh yes... the guy with the hole in the ground... @herthaner has since plucked himself from the hole and is now sawing at a mighty tree with.......... A HERRING!
He is getting 6 Wood an hour from that so apparently it's working... we're just gonna leave him to it...
Plot 31 is the first of our Plots this week and lets see what we have here... @bengiles with a Common Natural Forest - this has definitely been a very wooded Region thus far!
Plot 32 is also bengiles and this Forest is definitely a bit nicer... maybe its the Spruces... but... no... it's a Rare Natural Forest, that's it! Nice pull buddy!
Plot 33 is @cherrynator89 with a Common Natty Forest - they're building something but we just kept strolling because I think we are lost in the woods now...
Plot 34 is a Rare Natural Forest that has been Claimed and Surveyed by newcomer @carom333 - congrats on your Plot and I see you already have 17k Production on it with 86 Wood/h! Keep up the logging efforts and stack those Resources!
Plot 35 is @kingasskicker with another Rare Natty Forest - so many nice trees here! They have a few guys building something but most of them are just napping... 579 Production means it'll get done... eventually!
Plot 36 is a Bog???? In the middle of the Forest?? Well... it's also a bit tingly... because it is a Common Magic [Death] Bog!!! Nice find @chiefquimbysdad - congratulations!
Plot 37 is one VERY LUCKY PULL by @azircon - apparently, according to the Discord... he had a dusty, forgotten Plot Claim in the recesses of his satchel... and when he blew off the dust... it was no ordinary Claim...
What an incredible find!!! Nice work AZ and congratulations!!!
Plot 38 is probably not as exciting but nevertheless... we shall approach it with cheerful optimism and celebrate the next Plot as much as we would a Keep... as we should... because all these trees are on fire... but they aren't burning down... uhhhh... @tharantula - what have you done with this Common Magic [Fire] Forest???
Plot 39 is our final plot and is a C N Forest as well... this one Claimed and Surveyed by @sebastienv - congratulations on that, perhaps we will see it utilized some day soon!

Resource prices continue their downward trend this morning as Praetoria shifts their PP around to try and optimize their output post Land 1.75!
Grain fell further from the 1 DEC = 50 Grain high to 1 DEC = 96.405 Grain with another minor decline today. There is no telling where this will settle but I can tell you Grain Plots are still in extremely high demand!!
Wood prices have been all over the place but currently they are trading at well under their PP Based Pricing Metric... not sure if that'll prove to be accurate in the long run... but who knows - just get to harvesting!!
PP Based Pricing Metrics are 4:1 Grain:Wood so if we measured prices with our PP's then Wood should be trading at roughly 4 x 10.373 DEC or 41.492 DEC per Kilo, so Wood seems to be quite undervalued at the moment!
Prices are under 200 DEC for a Kilo of Stone but they will probably continue to drop as price stabilizes around the PP Metric... ASSUMING price stabilizes around the PP metric lol...
PP Based Metrics are 10:1 Grain:Stone so a PP based price would have Stone priced at 103.73?!? Unless I am missing something... which is quite possible... Stone is currently dangerously overvalued at 190 DEC/Kilo based on Grain PP Metrics...
This is certain not financial advice as we are talking about the economies of a video game but hey, here's the data, I hope it helps 🤷♂
Iron prices also dropped today, falling almost 4% to 386.51 DEC per Kilo as we attempt to find a bottom here in the Praetorian ComEx.
Keep in mind Iron is the hardest Resource to acquire, requiring a LOT of effort to extract it. Grain has a .02PP Requirement whereas Iron is .0005 or 40X harder to Mine! Will this transfer a premium to Iron? Who knows! We're just over a week in and this is EXCITING!!
PP Based Price Metrics put Iron at 40:1 Grain:Iron so that would mean if Grain:DEC is trading at 10.373 DEC Kilo if Grain, then Iron should be 414.92 DEC per Kilo or so which means Iron is a bit undervalued at the moment, using those metrics...
Hey look! They got their own section!! This is a simple breakout highlighting whether or not a Resource is trading Over/Under their PP Based Price. Perhaps it will act as a Market Indicator to let us know if a resource is Under/Overvalued at present????
Here's another handy dandy chart - I think aggroed and others are posting something super similar to this as well so I love having more than one person looking at this data!
At the end of the day, the Market will Market... but at least we have some people who are actively tracking an analyzing the data! Let's cut to the weather now...
