Hello and welcome to my contribution post for the Share your battle weekly contest by Splinterlands. This weeks guest is Deeplurker.
Let's start by checking out the Lore in Splinterlands.
SPLINTERLANDS LORE
Terrifying to behold, Deeplurkers are a poisonous fish that dwell at the bottom of the ocean and prey on the weak. However, they are known to travel to the surface in times of dire need. Many believe that they are sensitive to the balance of elemental water magic and, when that balance is in danger, the Deeplurkers rise to attack or defend it.

The Kulu Swimhunters swam just below the surface of the water, following the Praetorian fishing vessel. When it lowered its sails and came to a halt, they would strike.
Movement from the depths below caught the eye of one Swimhunter. He turned his tentacled head to peer down. Something large rose toward them. Before he could call out a warning, a massive Deeplurker swam into their midst in a churn of frothing water.
Its grotesque tongue lolled as the enormous fish seized the smallest Swimhunter by the waist, teeth tearing into rubbery flesh. Another churn of water, and the Deeplurker descended into darkness with its prey.
The remaining Kulu Swimhunters scattered, fleeing in all directions, and the Praetorian fishing vessel sailed on, blissfully unaware of how close its crew had come to their demise.
Well this lore is a cool one, maybe I'll draw that for the Art contest.
This card is a legend even it's faiely new! The Kelya Water deck is usually based on that single card eating all the small crew and only the strongest left just to be obliterated!
I'm also a proud owner of a GF Deeplurker card!
Ok, let's see what this monster (I can't say it's horifying, he looks like my moustached uncle somehow 😂) have in various steps of its levels!
Level 1 | Level 6 | Level 10 |
---|---|---|
![]() | ![]() | ![]() |
That is a huge difference between 1 to 10. That's a must have card I must say!
The single card price is 0.24$ and 4.09$ for GF right now! That's a bargain!
The price of common and GF is decreasing, since all chaos cards prices decreasing but somepoint they will skyrocket, mark my words!
Battle:
Now you know your card. Let's check out my battle.
This is a silverIII league match!
This is a Broken Arrow match where you can't use ranged attack! One less thing to worry about!
Yeah apparently I'm using a level 2 summoner. This will make a difference if you use GF cards that may add new abilities on higher levels etc. Also it's a good way to counter the bot attacks, which you will have the advantage of high stats cards against them even if you have the same deck!
Deck Analysis
Because I have a level 2 summoner I'm using a level 2 diemonshark, a level 2 Deeplurker and a level 2 Flying Squid. But other then that because of the huge mana cap, I used many other titans! Oshannus is a good choice in mid and high mana caps, obviously. And also there is a ranged ban so rivals use magic. Nerissa is one of my favourite cards, huge magic attack! And old but gold Sand Worm (always makes me dream about the tremors and dune movies sandworms)
My rival I don't know why used those low mana characters like Sea Genie and Wavesmith, I can relate but not high mana cap chars!
Let's battle now:
So we started like that and chaos, boom boom boom! We are like that at the end of round 1 and starting of round 2! My diemonshark is under a lot of pressure! But don't worry, it doesn't mean anything! Just look at his Oshannus and let's talk later!
Round 3! I lost my Diemonshark!

Hah, no big deal! Hang in there, the other Oshannus nearly dead!
At round 4 Deeplurkers killed themselves last round, but mine gave significant damage! As you can see I have the advantage there!
Round 5! This match has already won by me, my rival is Bruce Willis from sixth sense!
Just a stretch and it's nearly done! VenariWavesmith is weak for a 99 mana cap game, even if it gave more shield! I told you so!
As I told you, my high mana chars overwhelmed the stage, look at Nerissa! She can do this all day!
Well it took 2 blows to get Sandworm down, also I go first because of the speed differences! That was a very entertaining match I must say, it could have been more challenging but that's ok!
So I finished with some win streak bonus, GF and Guild bonuses with %75 Capture Rate I got 4.674 DEC Pretty good!
Conclusion
I like playing with Kelya and Deeplurker a lot! You can also see a lot of Bots playing with it too! Watch and learn the bot tactics and raise the game by adding some GF cards. If you don't have them you can rent them. And when you have humans to play just show them who's the boss. You can actually tell the difference by the deck usgae and the name of the accounts.
Just play for fun don't think about 1-2 DECs, rent some high meta characters. Play with them, enjoy when you crash your rivals hopes 😂 Don't get too cocky and let yourself rest after playing!
