This is a follow up post on my previous post on the rented cards.
Rental cards used in below matches.
- CREEPING OZEE
- WINDMASTER
- VENARI WAVESMITH
- GRIM REAPER
And below are some battles and my thought process.
1. Counter YODIN with magic
My thought process
a. Observe opponent line up and notice YODIN summoner used past matches
b. Counter YODIN range buff with WINDMASTER
c. Add armor to allow your back line survive for at least 1 round with VENARI WAVESMITH.
d. Use FROZEN SOLDIER to reduce those incoming melee + range dmg.
e. Use magic monster slowly melt them away.
Outcome
Thanks to WINDMASTER, VENARI WAVESMITH and FROZEN SOLDIER, my team able to win this match even though opponent have a an edge against my card level.

2. Counter FLESH GOLEM heal with heavy range backline
My thought process
a. Looking at opponent previous plays & rules only allow 3 types.
b. Notice level 3 FLESH GOLEM, which predicted he would utilize this overpower card.
c. To stop him for healing, GRIM REAPER would be a natural fit.
d. Also notice that he will have an heavy range backline, thus CONTESSA L'AMENT will be a preferred choice as there could be a chance to reduce more than 2 dmg for the tank to last longer.
e. As i have extra mana, therefore i've place CURSED SLIMEBALL at 1st position to soak up 1 hit before allow the main tank to tank.
Outcome
Thanks to CURSED SLIMEBALL who take 3 DMG for the team from MITICA HEADHUNTER, else my HAUNTED SPIRIT would have be dead and i might lost the game without a tank. Also CURSED SLIMEBALL allow my GRIM REAPER to get a 2nd chance to stop the annoying FLESH GOLEM heals. Also thanks to CREEPING OZEE as it allow HAUNTED SPIRIT to attack before FLESH GOLEM.

Sometimes it can be frustrating to see overpower cards in low league. But with the correct counter and placement, we might have a slim chance to win the match and get some hard earn DEC 😄
