For this weeks contest I decided to give the Stone Golem another try.
I used this image as my reference and as usual I used Poser13 to make this piece.
As I mentioned above this is actually my second time doing the Stone Golem, but this is my first time doing the Golem using new 3d modeling techniques that I recently learned. So I started out with a 3D model of a golem that I made.
One of the coolest things about the stone Golem is those big wide glowing eyes, so the first thing I did was add two eye props with a glowing material added to them.
Then I added a stone like texture to the model, it looks black but once it's rendered it looks like stone.
Once rendered this is what I came out with, then I animated it. I thought about making his eyes more red, but I didn't wan't my Stone Golem to look stoned lol.
