Today's daily quest was to win 5 battles using cards from the Life splinter. I was glad to have something a little different to do today! Well, I've had the Life quest before but only once or twice. This time I managed to finish it pretty quickly, though I did have two defeats.
I didn't have any particular strategy thought out ahead of time and used a variety of different monsters for the battles. I did use the Summoner Lorna Shine for most of the battles since I favor her over the other usual Life Summoners. For the tank position I usually pick Clay Golem or Shieldbearer, depending on whether or not I think my opponent might want to use magic monsters or not. For one my matches today I had the Little League rule-set and had to choose the Crystal Werewolf instead of Clay Golem. It worked out.
I also ended up putting my Luminous Eagle in the tank position for one of today's battles. It was a very low Mana cap battle, with the Earthquake rule-set. So I picked 2 of the flying monsters I had in Life splinter, Light Elemental and Luminous Eagle, and that was all I could afford mana-wise. Surprisingly, I won that battle too! I think I mostly got lucky and my opponent didn't see that it was an Earthquake match.
