This would be my first time joining Splinterlands - Weekly Challenge
Here , We can check my alt accounts battle in Silver League featuring this weeks monster: HAUNTED SPIDER
Lets go into details as i shared below:
HAUNTED SPIDER
The second form of a Dark Eternal is determined by the state of the soul. Some of the more twisted souls take insect form, and the Haunted Spider is the favorite. The projectile venom and massive, armored thorax make the Haunted Spider a formidable (and intimidating) enemy in any battle.
MONSTER STATISTICS:
With the stats of this monster, we can see its importance when we are able to use its skill "Poison" which are really annoying with -2 damage every round upon infliction.
BATTLE
RULE OF THE GAME
All Melee attack monster have SNEAK ABILITY with 28 MANA CAP.
- As we can see with the sneak ability rules, I have decided to use a Cocatrice monster with a speed of 3 and flying ability which gives me advantage on other melee attack monster to miss.
LINE UP
- Pelacor Deceiver (Lvl 3)
- This new reward card has been very useful especially in front line as it has health of 8, a speed of 4 and a flying ability which gives more chance for melee and range attack of enemy to miss. This really useful for mid mana battle since it is tough with only 5 mana to use.
2.Ancient Lich (Lvl 1)
- This Legendary monster has ever been useful to me with its skill " Life Leech" which adds to its max health even though it is slow with the speed of 1, if you put it in proper line up, you would definitely benefited from its skill. This might be high in mana, 7 , it still useful for high mana battle.
3.Haunted Spider (Lvl 4)
- This is our feature monster this week. I used this monster to have benefited from its skill "poison" which is very helpful as it damages -2 every round upon infliction. With the ranged attack of 2 and with the mana of 3 , it was very useful for low mana battle.
4.Nightmare (Lvl 3)
- This reward card Nightmare is really useful with its blast ability. Given the rule that all melee monster will have sneak ability , I put this monster 4th in line as it has speed of 5 and health of 10 it was really a good defense for backline after Cocatrice. Even though it was high in mana, it still very useful to use and with its skill in effect.
5.Cocatrice (Lvl 1)
- This neutral monster has been useful to me with the rules. With the mana cap of 28 with this battle, I choose to put this in backline as it to fill the mana cap and it has flying ability and speed of 3 which greatly increases the chances of missing from melee and ranged attack given melee monster have been given sneak ability.
ROUND 1
- With this round, Cocatrice has died but it has been able to dodge the attack from Goblin Mech but hit by Haunted Spirt. He really put his defense high with Haunted Spirit Healing abilities. I was able to reduce some life of haunted spirit and break some armor of Goblin Mech with blast ability.
ROUND 2
- In round 2, We can see how my first three cards rip Gelatinous Cube to 4 health even though poison from our featured monster this week has not yet inflicted.
ROUND 3
- In round 3, We can see the Gelatinous cube already defeated and my Nightmare has been hit by Goblin Mech backline.
ROUND 4
- In Round 4, The only two monster remain in the enemy line up. This puts me in advantage. Although my nightmare has been greatly damaged with only remaining health of 2 while he still has great defense backline .
ROUND 5
- In round 5, Miss greatly helps me as Goblin Mech was engaged miss attack with my pelacor deceiver and another miss with my nightmare, backline, from Haunted Spirit attack
THIS ROUND I DEFEATED THE ENEMY AND BRING VICTORY WITH MY MONSTERS.
