Hey Splintermates, today I am on fire🔥. I am preparing a second post of the day inspired by my friend @nozem01 and his post to help the Splinterlands community. As you might have read on my X account, this last Splinterlands season I have been able to achieve Diamond League in Modern and I have prepared a specific post as part of the Splinterlands Community Engagement.
This milestone has happened after nearly 4 years playing on a regular and manual basis Splinterlands the game. However, I have started creating content on PeakD and being more active on X. My friend and Guild mate Nozem inspired me by showing his earnings thanks to creating excellent content about Splinterlands and participating in challenges proposed by @splinterlands and @thepeoplesguild.
One of my goals has always been to keep improving my Splinterlands deck and as Chaos Legion is going ot rotate out of Modern in April 2025, I needed additional funds to start buying Rebellion cards before they go up in price, so I sat down in front of the PC and decided to create my first about What is Splinterlands?. If you have time, you can check out and compare it with this current post.
For that reason and to keep inspiring more and more Splinterlands players, I have decided to create this post and share with the rest of the world how to blog in PeakD and reinvest earning in Splinterlands.
- GO TO PEAKD
The very first thing you need to do is go to peakd.com and click to Login on the upper right side of the screen.
I understand that you are a Splinterlands player and that you have a HIVE account.
- LOGIN TO PEAKD
Next step would be to enter your IN GAME NAME. In my case, ESTEBAM.
- CREATE A POST
If you finally have decided to go ahead and create some content, you need to click again on the upper side of the screen a select "CREATE A POST".
I like very much the options that PeakD provides to create a post and in addition, the Splinterlands team provides also support in their challenges on how to create and improve posts, so would be worth checking there. I leave a picture of the creation of this post below, so you know how it looks like prior submission 😝.
-CHECK THE HASHTAGS!
If you want to be rewarded by the creation of the posts, then you need to check and follow what the Splinterlands team is writing in their posts. As an example, in the last Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge that I have participated, the HASHTAGS you need to include are #splinterlands and #play2earn. See the picture below:
HOW TO COLLECT AND REINVEST FUNDS
After the hard work, it´s time to get some rewards and reinvest funds. Once you have submitted your first post, then you will start getting upvotes from the community members and also from the Splinterlands team, in case you have fulfilled all their requirements.
So lets see how it is done:
- CHECK THE WALLET
- CLAIM REWARDS
Unfortunately, I made a mistake and have claimed the rewards without taking a picture. But I will upload this specific step as soon as I have something to claim. Apologies for this 😌.
- EXCHANGE HBD for HIVE
Once you have claimed your first rewards, then go to HIVE WALLET BLOG and log in with your HIVE account.
In the WALLET, you can check how much $ your HIVE ACCOUNT is, but also the amount of HIVE DOLLARS. These are the earnings that we would like to reinvest into the game.
- GO TO THE MARKET
Now it´s time to go to the market and exchange these HIVE DOLLARS for HIVE. In my case, I just have 1.810 HBD available. You would put there your amount and then go to BUY HIVE.
Once the transaction is confirmed, we would need to go to TRIBALDEX.
- DEPOSIT HIVE IN TRIBALDEX
Same process, we LOGIN with our HIVE account.
Then, we need to DEPOSIT the HIVE we have exchanged in the market to TRIBALDEX. Click to DEPOSIT.
Once clicked, we will be asked to select the token. In our case, we need to find HIVE.
Sometimes, it takes time to do the exchange. But after a couple of minutes, the transaction should be done and the amount of HIVE that you got before should appear there. In my case, 5.285 HIVE. Click on Deposit Amount.
- SWAP HIVE TO DEC
One last step is required before we have the token required for Splinterlands. As you know, one of the tokens is DEC. So we need now to SWAP HIVE to DEC, so we can transfer the blogging earnings into the game.
If the transaction has been done properly, the $ amount of your wallet will be updated. See below.
Now we need just to swap. Click on the arrow highlighted below.
A new screen will appear and you should add the amount of HIVE that you would like to swap. In my case, I have selected the maximum number. Then, just click on SWAP.
TRANSFER DEC TO SPLINTERLANDS
One last step is required to reinvest earnings. We just need to send this DEC that we have hardly won thanks to creating content to Splinterlands.
- GO TO SPLINTERLANDS
Go to Splinterlands and click on the DEC symbol/ DEC amount you have in the game. Click on TRANSFER and a new window will show up, as per below.
Then, you select in FROM "HIVE ENGINE" and TO "IN GAME" the Quantity of DEC that you have swapped before. And just click on TRANSFER.
And there you have, MAGIC! I have now 2.5kDEC to reinvest in the game, buying a new WILD PASS or for new cards! Simply, amazing.
