Greetings, on this occasion I come to share my battle for the weekly challenge. This time the "Back to Basics" condition is the chosen one. As it is well known, it is not always possible to win... And well, this is an example of that, the defeat was crushing!
From Splinterlands and edited with CANVA
On the front Harklaw and Unicorn Mustang face off. Both tanks have their reasons to stand out, although "Back To Basics" levels things up quite a bit in this first clash. The unicorn's speed makes it stand out a bit, however, the legendary monster's armor gives it some advantage. I've gotten a couple out of that card, but I don't really use it too much, as I like Cursed Wendiku better, as Thorns turns a lot of matchups around.
However, the biggest disadvantage would be reflected in the blow to the foundation of my strategy, magic. The enemy summoner reduced the magic of my cards and since I had not chosen Obsidian, this debuff did not even out.
By the end of the first round Harklaw dealt the death blow to the fast unicorn, extremely wounded by the enemy magic, his void did not accompany him this time.
For the second place Mycelic Slipspawn was my card of choice, this magic tank was able to hurt Harklaw quite a bit, but the enemy blast left him badly wounded, so when Unicorn Mustang fell, he didn't last long on his feet.
He got to see Harklaw fall at the hands of Supply Runner but was knocked out by Life Sapper in the second round. He was unable to take down Djinn Muirat.
Sporcerer was the third one chosen for the showdown, this mage with armor reduction ability I rented him for the Brawls, although I had the opportunity to use him in this battle. Unfortunately he didn't shine as expected. Blast weakened him too much, and his magic was quarantined by the enemy. He was fulminated by Dhampir Stalker in a double kill, where both mushrooms fell.
For the opponent, the card of choice was Life Sapper, which usually stands out for its life steal, but this time he failed to absorb it because Back To Basics didn't allow it. However, it was quite efficient with blast. I couldn't defeat him, he was only one life point away.
Venari Bonesmith and Mushroom Seer were chosen for each team in the fourth position, my mage was limited by debuff so he failed to bring his full potential to the team and soon fell to a powerful blast.
BoneSmith resisted until the end intact, as I couldn't reach him even with the residual blast impact.
For the end of the strategy were the archers who contributed most to the offense, Supply Runner and Vampiric Blossom, both were quite good in terms of performance, but were not enough for the victory. Vampiric Blossom was the one who managed to give the last blow before my defeat, if he had given one more two enemies would have fallen but still would not have been enough to win.
In the rival team the fearsome Dhampir Stalker and an epic mage from the Reward edition were there to cover the rear, Stalker managed a double kill that stood out in the battle.

Curious fact:
The defeat was crushing, by the second round I had no cards left on the battlefield. The double kill of Dhampir Stalker was very curious because both cards are quite similar, they are magic, they are anthropomorphic mushrooms and they have debuff based abilities.
