Hello Splinterlands Community!
It has been a while since I do the Splinterlands Share your Battle Weekly Challenge when it comes to dragon element. In this post, I will be featuring the powerful Carnage Titan which is the 8th airdrop from the Chaos Legion Edition.
For those who are new to my post, I usually post information which is related in the Silver League Modern Format but after a few season, I will be gradually moving up to the Gold League.
He was called Holicrai the Magnificent and without doubt, he was the finest Gloridax guardian in the history of the land. He was as feared as some of the dragons that lived on Dragon’s Roost. The people of Draykh-Nahka would sing songs about him, and the ancient scholars would say that the sagas told about him didn’t do him justice. When he passed to the other side, they took his armor and displayed it in the Warrior’s Hall, deep within the Centrum. His bones were laid to rest in the Guardian’s Chapel on the far side of the city, a shrine open to the people so they might pay their respects for all he had done.
It cost Morloth, the crazed tinker, not a single penny to acquire the armor. The Chaos Legion had brought it to him, together with a long, thick bone from the chapel’s tomb – probably the femur he guessed. He didn’t ask them how they’d come by it, and the strange man that conveyed the delivery was most peculiar indeed. He wore a long black coat and top hat, with a bizarre beaked mask and shimmering green amulet about his neck, carrying a lantern that pierced the night. He spoke to himself as much as he did to Morloth, and by the end of their conversation, the tinker wasn’t sure who he was more afraid of, the entire Chaos Legion that had descended upon the land, or this one strange man that was standing before him.
Using the green crystals that he’d fuelled the Disintegrator with, Morloth set to work hammering away at the pieces of armor and fusing parts of the bone to the metal. Night passed into morning, as he sharpened its metal fingers into deadly claws, each one as long as his forearm. Then daylight came and went, the cycle repeating until he had lost complete track of time. He took sips of water from the various flasks that littered his workshop, and when the paltry reserves of food ran out, he chewed upon the green crystals themselves, sucking the energy from them. Partway through his labors, Morloth had to drag his creation from the workshop and set a canvas tent outside to continue, so big was the masterpiece. When it was time to attach the head, he rolled the lump of metal across the ground and fused it to the shoulders. Finally, he started work on the impressive helm that would conceal the giant green crystal that fuelled the creation’s mind and body.
When finished, Morloth collapsed in a state of complete exhaustion. He awoke later to find that his creation was gone. The terrible Carnage Titan had come to life and left him whilst he slept. He never did learn where his golem had gone, but then, nor did he discover how fortunate he was that it didn’t tear him to pieces before it left.

Looking at the abilities, Carnage Titan reach ability allows it to attack from the second position and with the help of double strike, Carnage Titan attack is a massive to deal with.
The shield ability is unlocked starting from Gold league which helps Carnage Titan to improve its defense, which is best against attacking monsters with thorn ability as well as from earthquake damage. The melee and range attack are reduced as well.

Combo Cards
In terms of summoners, currently Byzantine Kitty is the best summoner with Carnage Titan because of its additional speed and true strike but Quix the Devious is also great with Carnage Titan as Byzantine Kitty is too expensive to own and expensive as well to rent.

Byzantine Kitty is the most applicable summoner to use because of the +2 speed which gives Carnage Titan a great boost as well as the True Strike in order for Carnage Titan to land its double attack. ⚰️ The Battle and Outcome
Battle
Rules of Combat
Modifications: Super Sneak, Taking Sides
Mana Cap: 60
Playable Splinters: Fire, Life, Dragon
With the high mana capacity, a good option in this match is to use a dragon splinter and choosing a life splinter over fire because of the speed. Carnage Titan and Agor Longtail combo has been chosen in this battle.
- Summoner: Quix the Devious is the best summoner to use in this battle since this battle only allows Chaos Legion and Riftwatchers. Quix the Devious reduce the speed of the opponents monsters.
- 1st Position: Agor Longtail is the main tank which deals a double attack, a melee and magic attack. With the taunt ability all attack are towards Agor Longtail. The flying ability gives an advantage for slow monsters.
- 2nd Position: Carnage Titan acts as the secondary tank. Reach ability won't be utilize because of the super sneak which supersede the reach ability.
- 3rd Position: Time Mage is in the next position and chosen because of the slow debuff which further reduce opponents speed. A -2 speed overall.
- 4th Position: Corsair Bosun is also chosen because of its high melee attack to deal high health monsters since the mana capacity is too high.
- 5th Position: Chaos Knight is in the 5th position as the guard to the rear because of the super sneak ability. The Giant Killer of Chaos Knight plays an important role in the battle.
- 6th Position: Runic Skyclaw is in the last position because it has a very high speed and a flying ability. With the 2x slow debuffs, enemies could miss a lot towards Runic Skyclaw.
Let's do the battle analysis per round:
Round 1
Analyzing opponent's line-up, the opponents also use a Quix and a dozen of high damaging melee monsters however with a very low speed.
Most of my monsters will attack first, all towards opponents Agor Longtail due to the speed difference. Agor Longtail will attack twice using magic and melee damage and then Carnage Titan with the double strike. Overall Agor Longtail has been defeated early in the first round.
The attack from opponent line-up could be able to defeat my Agor Longtail however with the speed difference, there are a high chance to dodge the attack.
Round 2
Agor Longtail survive the first round due to several misses. With taunt effect gone, Carnage Titan, Bosun and Chaos Knight will use the sneak ability to deal with Grum Chaos Knight having the advantage to deal double damage. On the other hand, Runic Skyclaw deals with Void Dragon due to snipe ability while Time Mage and Agor Longtail deals with opponent's Carnage Titan.
Agor Longtail won't survive the succeeding attack from opponent's monsters leading to the sneak attack towards Runic Skyclaw. Runic Skyclaw speed and flying ability could make the difference to avoid several attack.
Carnage Titan as a secondary tank will defend the frontline upon Agor's defeat.
Round 3
Through the combined efforts Grum has been defeated. The battle between two Carnage Titan has started.
The battle continues as Runic Skyclaw attacks Void Dragon, Time Mage helps Carnage Titan to deal with the Carnage Titan. Chaos Knight and Corsair Bosun deals with Desert Dragon.
Round 4
With the speed difference, all incoming attacks will seal the victory. Runic Skyclaw's snipe defeated Void Dragon, Time Mage defeated Carnage Titan, the double strike from Carnage Titan defeated Mordeus and Corsair Bosun landing the final hit towards Desert Dragon.
⚰️ Final Thoughts
Carnage Titan is a very powerful legendary cards that can be utilize both offense and defense.
Offensive in a way that this card could help dealing damage to the frontline by being in the second position and thus having a double strike gives further damage in the frontline.
Defensive in a way that with high armor and health, this card acts as second layer of defense. The shield ability which is available starting gold league further increase its defensive capability.
Carnage Titan is a high mana cost which is why this card is only applicable in high mana battle. This card is weak against magic units and monsters with giant killer ability.
Overall this card is very useful in the battlefield.
How do you think Carnage Titan power?
