I'll show you how the weekly challenge went by using the DEFENDER OF TRUTH card along with Gelatinous cube to take advantage of the POISON battle rule and low resource (13).
First of all, this was a very difficult challenge, my other LIFE cards are not good and I lost many in this attempt at a challenge, I didn't have the card so I had to spend about 2.5 dec to rent the card for a day, even though it was the last week from the season that didn't make me give up trying and lose a lot of rating along the way (ðŸ˜).
First, I'll show you all the possibilities of cards and I'll explain a little more about why the choice of this summoner, the gelatinous cube as a tanker and how the opponent's history influenced the choice.
The total resource to play cards was 13, and the rule of the game is Poison.
First choice - Defender of Truth, Obviously because the challenge is to use the card and second because it has magic attack, shield and an acceptable amount of life for its cost, another important factor was the fact that my opponent used a lot of water deck with Alric , and the Albatross card was always present, so if I eliminated it first, I could have a free path to damage the important cards that go with Magic Attack, another factor thought was the use of Venari wavesmith, then I could take advantage of the confidence of the opponent into tanking the first hit using the armor provided by this card and surprises them with magic damage by taking out their only tanker.
Second Choice - Choose a low cost main tank, such as 3 or 4 and another utility card with a cost of 2 or 3, or simply use the remaining 6 resources to play a pure tanker, as the rule is poison and is more favorable for both players lose creatures, besides that as resources were very low and the total of creatures would be +-10, the opponent's probability to use cards with low HP was high and influenced the choice of Gelatinous cube, as this card had no armor , has high health and still has the Scavenger ability, which provides more hp to the card each time a creature dies in combat.
So, with both choices made, it was expected that the opponent would follow their pattern of deck choice and use the water deck with a focus on magic Attack.

In the first attack the Defender of Truth killed the Albatross, and in the first poison round the opponent lost two creatures, which made my Gelatinous Cube more tanker and gave me enough time to use the poison effect in my favor.
