I got super lucky with the latest airdrop. I ended up receiving 3 copies of Grum Flameblade. I think that Grum is the best of the 3 cards that came out. When I looked at the market, I was surprised to see how inexpensive all 3 of the new cards were. Since that first day the price on Grum has come up a little and after losing a couple of matches with the card I decided to sell. I think the price will come down some, and I would like to return Grum to my collection at a lower price point in the future. With the proceeds on Grum I bought a couple of the fiends. Fungus Fiend especially looks good on account of soaking up a hit and dishing out thorns in connection with Mylor for low mana battles.
My best pickup was a copy of Haunted Spirit. I was scrolling through the market and noticed that Alpha was less expensive than Beta for Haunted Spirit and when I clicked, it got even better. The card I bought was level 2 with 3 bcx.
You can see in the latest market snapshot that the price on alpha is no longer lower. I don't expect to make any large purchases over the next week or so, but I will keep an eye on things. I've been stacking SPS in preparation for Riftwatchers and planning to buy cards and packs only with DEC and what I'm able to make here blogging. I hope to add a Sea Monster and Axemaster for my secondary account sometime over the next month.
