My daily quest yesterday paid off handsomely. This was by far the biggest haul of DEC that I've received at once.
I sold the Chaos Legion pack for a little over $3 and turned that into more DEC which gave me enough that I could have bought an Axemaster for my secondary account.
I haven't pulled the trigger yet. My 2 priorities for expanding my collection are to:
- Get the handful of cards that bring me the most wins for my secondary account and Axemaster is in my top 10 for that category but not as high up as Mylor or Brighton Bloom.
- To go wide with my collection before I start leveling up cards for Silver. Some of the cards that I have my eye on for broadening my deck include the less expensive legendary cards from Untamed and some of the older legendary rewards cards. Many of these cards have been trending down for the past month or 2 and I don't think that I'll get a lot of better opportunities to pick them up.
Gloridax Magus, Bila, Grog, Lich and Darius all look good at these prices.
As for getting cards leveled up. I think that I'll be able to do that for prices similar to what we have now as long as Chaos Legion packs are still available.
What are your thoughts? Am I better off getting some of the cards that have helped me win for my secondary account first or buying some of these legends while they're affordable?
Waiting to make a decision serves a purpose too. While I'm sitting on some DEC it juices my SPS airdrops a little better than the eventual cards will. It also makes it more likely that I'll be able to pounce if another great deal falls into my lap.
I'm still stacking vouchers. I'm still stacking and staking SPS in anticipation of the Riftwatchers release.
