Intro
Der Start von Rebellion am 05.12.2023 wurde gestern bestätigt. Noch eine Woche und 85 neue Monster und Summoner ziehen in Modern ein und verdrängen Untamed und Dice.
Zeit, dass wir uns die neuen Monster etwas genauer anschauen.
Um es übersichtlich zu halten, wird es einen Artikel pro Splinter geben.
@wolfigangle hat sich die Mühe gemacht, sämtliche Werte der neuen Karten aus dem Mav Server in einem Post zu kopieren. Eine perfekte Übersicht.
Nach Rücksprache mit ihm, kann ich die Bilder verwenden. Sie sind also nicht mein Verdienst.

Intro
The launch of Rebellion on 05.12.2023 was confirmed yesterday. One more week and 85 new monsters and summoners will move into Modern, replacing Untamed and Dice.
Time to take a closer look at the new monsters.
To keep it clear, there will be one article per splinter.
@wolfigangle has taken the trouble to copy all the values of the new cards from the Mav server into one post. A perfect overview.
After consultation with him, I can use the pictures. So I can't take credit for them.

Überall Feuer
Im ersten Artikel schauen wir auf die Monster des Fire Splinters.
Feuer Monster waren sowohl bei Chaos Legion als auch bei Riftwatchers mit wenigen Ausnahmen nicht gerade die besten Karten. Das lag unter anderem auch an den eher schwächeren Beschwörern.
Tarsa spielt man hauptsächlich wenn nichts anderes verfügbar ist, und Jacek ist auch eher ein Mann für gewisse Stunden äh Battles.
Rebellion bringt nun einige neue Karten, die sicherlich das Meta verändern werden, und dazu führen, dass Feuer öfter gespielt wird.
Fire everywhere
In the first article, we look at the Fire Splinter monsters.
Fire monsters were not exactly the best cards in both Chaos Legion and Riftwatchers, with a few exceptions. This was partly due to the rather weaker summoners.
Tarsa is mainly played when nothing else is available, and Jacek is also more of a man for certain hours, er, battles.
Rebellion now brings some new cards that will certainly change the meta and lead to Fire being played more often.

Gobalano Soldier
Das erste Monster welches wir uns anschauen, bringt direkt eine der neuen Fähigkeiten nämlöich Ambush mit.
Kombiniert mit Sneak, erlaubt es dem Gobalano Soldier bereits vor Spielbeginn dem letzten Monster des Gegners Schaden zu verursachen.
Ab Level 5 also bereits in der Silber Liga zerstört er damit die Rüstung dieses Monsters.
Die guten Fähigkeiten erkauft sich der Soldier allerdings mit eher niedrigen Grundwerten. Erst auf der Goldliga bekommt er einen zweiten Schadenspunkt.
Ich bin gespannt ob wir ihn in niedrigen Ligen häufig sehen werden? Vielleicht in Kombination mit Tarsa, Uraeus und Tenyii Striker?
Gobalano Soldier
The first monster we look at comes with one of the new abilities, Ambush.
Combined with Sneak, it allows the Gobalano Soldier to deal damage to the opponent's last monster before the game even starts.
From level 5, i.e. already in the Silver League, it destroys this monster's armour.
However, the Soldier buys these good abilities with rather low basic values. He only gets a second point of damage at Gold League level.
I'm curious to see if we'll see him often in lower leagues? Perhaps in combination with Tarsa, Uraeus and Tenyii Striker?
Nimbledook Scout
Das erste Trainee Monster im Set.
Mit ihrer Backfire Fähigkeit bietet sich Nimbledook Scout als Sneak oder Snipe Protection an.
Ab Level 5 hat sie auch die notwendigen Lebenspunkte und Geschwindigkeit. Ihr Inspire könnte dem ansonsten etwas schwächlich daherkommenden Gobalano Soldier die notwendige Kraft verleihen.
Spannend wird sie auf Level 10, wenn Sie Blast erhält. Ein klares Zeichen dafür, dass sie gerne mit einem Weapontrainer zusammenarbeiten möchte.
Dalthin Ironhood oder Berix bieten sich hier an. In Kombination mit Brewmaster Abraxas könnte aber auch Ava the Undaunted diese Aufgabe übernehmen. Mit Dolfar Darflak ginge auch Skok Duskblight.
Schon beim zweiten Monster wird deutlich, welche Komplexität Rebellion mitbringt. Die Kombination verschiedener Splinter ergibt ganz neue Möglichkeiten und Weapon Training wird sehr oft genutzt werden.
Nimbledook Scout
The first trainee monster in the set.
With its backfire ability, Nimbledook Scout is ideal for sneak or snipe protection.
From level 5, it also has the necessary health points and speed. Her Inspire could give the otherwise somewhat weak Gobalano Soldier the necessary strength.
She becomes exciting at level 10 when she gets Blast. This is a clear sign that she would like to work with a weapon trainer.
Dalthin Ironhood or Berix are a good choice here. In combination with Brewmaster Abraxas, Ava the Undaunted could also take on this task. Skok Duskblight would also work with Dolfar Darflak.
The complexity of Rebellion becomes clear with the second monster. The combination of different splinters opens up completely new possibilities and Weapon Training will be used very often.
Kha'Zi Fire Mage
Was man mit dem Fire Mage anfangen soll, ist mir noch nicht so ganz klar.
4 Mana - Relativ wenig Lebenspunkte, langsam bis mittelschnell. Bis Level 9 nur 1 Magieschaden.
Dazu noch Fähigkeiten, die nicht wirklich zusammenpassen. Dodge ist zwar immer gut, aber Scattershot und Fury?
Vielleicht entgeht mir etwas bei der jungen Dame, aber ich würde wetten, das wird eine der weniger nachgefragten Karten im Set.
Kha'Zi Fire Mage
I'm still not quite sure what to do with the Fire Mage.
4 mana - Relatively low health, slow to medium speed. Only 1 magic damage up to level 9.
Plus abilities that don't really fit together. Dodge is always good, but Scattershot and Fury?
Maybe I'm missing something with the young lady, but I'd wager this will be one of the less sought after cards in the set.
Chaos Orc
Der Chaos Orc wird sicher seinen Platz auf den Schlachtfeldern finden.
Für einen Tank hat er mir etwas zu wenig Lebenspunkte. In Kombination mit einer Flanker wie dem Ulundin Overseer oder in einem Mellee Mayhem Ruleset ist er sicherlich gut zu gebrauchen.
Pierce und Trample sind Fähigkeiten, die gut zueinander passen. Darüber hinaus ist er für einen Nahkämpfer des Feuer Splinters auch recht schnell.
Chaos Orc
The Chaos Orc will certainly find its place on the battlefield.
For me, he has a little too little health for a tank. In combination with a flanker like the Ulundin Overseer or in a Mellee Mayhem ruleset, he is certainly good to use.
Pierce and Trample are abilities that go well together. He is also quite fast for a Fire Splinter melee fighter.
Brewmaster Abraxas
Unser erster Dual Color Summoner vereint die Splinter Feuer und Erde.
Die sich daraus ergebenden möglichen Kombinationen aufzuzählen, ist hier nicht möglich, dennoch ein Gedanken.
Feuer ist grundsätzlich schlecht ausgestattet mit Protect und mit Heal. Mit Queen Mycelia und dem Goblin Psychic gibt es hier gute Ergänzungen.
Mit dem Fungus Flinger stünde Fire ein weiterer Märtyrer zur Verfügung. Auf die Kombination beim Weapon Training bin ich bereits weiter oben eingegangen.
Dennoch sehe ich die Dual Color Summoner eher als stark in Nischen. Das Fehlen von Fähigkeiten ist durchaus ein Nachteil.
Bei Silenced Summoner, Odd Ones Out, Even Stevens oder Low Mana Battles dürften Sie aber ihre Stärken haben.
Brewmaster Abraxas
Our first Dual Colour Summoner combines the Fire and Earth splinters.
It's not possible to list all the possible combinations here, but here are a few thoughts.
Fire is generally poorly equipped with Protect and Heal. Queen Mycelia and Goblin Psychic are good additions here.
With the Fungus Flinger, Fire would have another martyr at his disposal. I've already mentioned the Weapon Training combination above.
Nevertheless, I see the Dual Colour Summoner as being strong in niches. The lack of abilities is definitely a disadvantage.
However, they should have their strengths in Silenced Summoner, Odd Ones Out, Even Stevens or Low Mana Battles.

Rare
Torch Myrmidon
Diese Karte ist auch nicht Fisch nicht Fleisch. Gerade darum aber vielleicht interessant, aber der Reihe nach.
Torch ist eigentlich ein Fernkämpfer. Seine Fähigkeiten Flank und Close Range zeigen, dass er aber eher für die erste Position geschaffen wurde. Ab Level 6 kommt noch Shatter hinzu.
Für einen Fernkämpfer verfügt Torch über relativ viele Lebenspunkte und sogar Rüstung. Aufgrund seiner Kosten von 8 gibt es jedoch bessere Alternativen auf der Position des Tanks. Zumal mit dem Ferexian Hero ein erstklassiger Second Tank zur Verfügung steht.
In einem Ruleset, in dem nur Fernkämpfer zur Verfügung stehen, wird er aber glänzen. Kombiniert ihn mit dem Drybone Raider und ihr habt eine extrem starke Front für ein solches Ruleset.
Torch Myrmidon
This card is also not fish not meat. But that's why it might be interesting, but first things first.
Torch is actually a ranged fighter. His Flank and Close Range abilities show that he was created more for the first position. Shatter is added from level 6.
For a ranged fighter, Torch has relatively high health points and even armour. However, due to its cost of 8, there are better alternatives in the tank position. Especially as the Ferexian Hero is a first-class second tank.
In a ruleset where only ranged fighters are available, however, he will shine. Combine him with the Drybone Raider and you have an extremely strong front line for such a ruleset.
Flame Mephit
2 Mana fliegend 2 Fernkampfschaden und ab Level 5 Backfire.
In höheren Level schnell genug und mit relativ viel Lebenspunkten ausgestattet.
Eine schöne Karte, die sicher regelmäßig im hinteren Bereich der Aufstellung zum Einsatz kommen wird.
Flame Mephit
2 mana flying 2 ranged damage and backfire from level 5.
Fast enough at higher levels and with relatively high health.
A nice card that will certainly be used regularly at the back of the line-up.
Torch Vizier
Diese Karte könnte einer meiner Lieblingskarten im Set werden. Endlich ein Opportunity Monster für Feuer, dass nicht gleich selbst durch Opportunity stirbt.
Dazu ab Level 4 Reflection Shield, was in der Silber Liga bisher nur über Venator Kinjo verfügbar war.
Eine gute Kombination mit einem Taunt Monster sei es Coerl Lurker an #1 oder z.B. Agor oder Mycilic Slipspawn auf #6.
Ob das Upgrade auf Level 8 wirklich nötig ist, liegt glaube ich im Auge des Betrachters. Wie so oft ist fraglich ob ein fünfter Schaden wirklich besser ist, wenn man dafür in ein Forcefield läuft.
Torch Vizier
This card might become one of my favourites in the set. Finally an opportunity monster for fire that doesn't die to opportunity itself.
Plus Reflection Shield from level 4, which was previously only available in the Silver League via Venator Kinjo.
A good combination with a Taunt monster, be it Coerl Lurker at #1 or e.g. Agor or Mycilic Slipspawn at #6.
Whether the upgrade to level 8 is really necessary, I think, is to everyones own mind. As is so often the case, it's questionable whether a fifth damage is really better if you run into a Forcefield for it.
Muspelheim Demon
Ich bin kein großer Freund von Scattershot. Eventuell in einem Explosive Weaponary Ruleset, bzw. wenn ohnehin nur Jacek verfügbar ist.
Wenn man das Monster sieht, ist die Ähnlichkeit zum Blood Maker hervorstechend. Der Demon hat etwas mehr Lebenspunkte und True Strike. Dagegen besticht Blodd Maker durch etwas mehr Schaden und vor allem Geschwindigkeit. Wenn ich die Wahl hätte, würde ich Blood Maker vorziehen.
Opress ist eine Fähigkeit, die aufgrund der ganzen Weapon Trainer mit Sicherheit an Wichtigkeit gewinnt. Warum man diese aber einem Monster mit Scattershot gibt und dann noch auf dem letzten Level, entzieht sich meiner Kenntnis.
Muspelheim Demon
I'm not a big fan of Scattershot. Maybe in an Explosive Weaponary ruleset, or if only Jacek is available anyway.
When you see the monster, the similarity to Blood Maker is striking. The Demon has slightly more life points and True Strike. Blood Maker, on the other hand, has slightly more damage and, above all, speed. If I had the choice, I would prefer Blood Maker.
Opress is an ability that is certainly gaining in importance due to all the Weapon Trainers. But why you give it to a monster with Scattershot and then at the last level is beyond me.
Nomos
Mit 5 Mana pendeln sich die rare Summoner von Rebellion gut in der Mana Range von CL und RW ein. Von 3-7 ist damit alles vorhanden.
Beide Fähigkeiten, die Nomos anbietet sind durchaus interessant. Gerade im jetzigen Meta mit Martyr und Bloodlust ist Dispel wichtiger geworden. Hat der Gegner kein Martyr und Bloodlust ist die Fähigkeit jedoch eher überflüssig.
Zwei gegnerischen Magiern -2 Magieschaden zu verpassen, eventuell noch kombiniert mit Silence ist sicherlich für jeden auf Magie bauenden Angreifer eine Herausforderung.
Mit dem Weggang von Bortus und Mimosa ein wichtiger Summoner, um Magie keine Oberhand zu geben.
Nomos
At 5 mana, Rebellion's rare summoners are well within the mana range of CL and RW. So everything from 3-7 is available.
Both abilities that Nomos offers are quite interesting. Especially in the current meta with Martyr and Bloodlust, Dispel has become more important. However, if the opponent doesn't have Martyr and Bloodlust, the ability is rather superfluous.
Giving two opposing mages -2 magic damage, possibly combined with Silence, is certainly a challenge for any magic-based attacker.
With the departure of Bortus and Mimosa, this is an important summoner to prevent magic from gaining the upper hand.

Dalthin Ironhood
Der Weapon Trainer des Fire Splinters.
Für 7 Mana erhält man bis zu 3 Punkte Fernkampfschaden, den man an bis zu 2 weitere Monster für insgesamt 9 Schaden weitergeben kann. Der Nimbledook Scout freut sich.
Dazu noch Immunity eine gute Rüstung und annehmbare Lebenspunkte und Geschwindigkeit.
Die Sahne auf der Torte ist Redemption auf L6.
An der Karte werden ambitionierte Spieler nur schwer vorbeikommen.
Dalthin Ironhood
The Weapon Trainer of the Fire Splinter.
For 7 mana you get up to 3 points of ranged damage, which you can pass on to up to 2 other monsters for a total of 9 damage. The Nimbledook Scout will be delighted.
In addition, Immunity has good armour and decent health and speed.
The icing on the cake is Redemption on L6.
Ambitious players will find it hard to get past this card.
Infernal Firestorm
Ein ordentlicher Tank für den stolzen Preis von 10 Mana. Der Schaden ist nicht sehr hoch für den Preis, dafür geht er direkt auf die Lebenspunkte.
Mit Flank erhält das Melee Monster auf der zweiten Position Reach. Eventuell interessant mit einem Weapon Trainee (Krash) auf #2 und Ferexian Hero auf der #3.
Alternativ verzichten wir auf Flank und spielen ihn einfach als Sneak Protection.
Auf Level 6 gibt es noch Demorolize dazu.
Infernal Firestorm
A decent tank for the proud price of 10 mana. The damage is not very high for the price, but it goes straight to the health points.
Flank gives the melee monster reach in second position. Possibly interesting with a Weapon Trainee (Krash) on #2 and Ferexian Hero on #3.
Alternatively, we do without Flank and simply play him as Sneak Protection.
At level 6 there is also Demorolize.

Chaos Golem
Der kleine Bruder des Forgotten One. Etwas weniger Rüstung und Schaden. Auch keine Immunity oder Pierce.
Dafür gibt es zusätzlich zu Retaliate noch Return Fire und vor allem Enrage. Das gepaart mit einer höheren Geschwindigkeit.
Wer gegen diesen Tank austeilt, muss gut einstecken können. Ein Muss in jedem Lost Magic Ruleset.
Chaos Golem
The little brother of the Forgotten One. Slightly less armour and damage. Also no Immunity or Pierce.
But in addition to Retaliate, it also has Return Fire and, above all, Enrage. This is paired with a higher speed.
If you're going to deal out damage against this tank, you need to be able to take it. A must-have in every Lost Magic ruleset.
Rush Townsend
5 Schaden und Ambush sowie Pierce und Affliction. Wow was für ein Paket bereits in Runde 0.
Das Einzige, was uns hier den Spaß verderben könnte, ist ein Slipspawn mit Forcefield.
Rush ist darüber hinaus sehr schnell. Für seine 9 Mana hat er jedoch wenige Lebenspunkte und sollte durch einen eigenen Taunter geschützt werden.
Auf Max Level erhält er noch Amplify, was bei Fire auch eher selten ist.
Rush Townsend
5 damage and Ambush as well as Pierce and Affliction. Wow, what a package already on turn 0.
The only thing that could spoil our fun here is a Slipspawn with Forcefield.
Rush is also very fast. For his 9 mana, however, he has few health points and should be protected by a Taunter of his own.
At max level, he still gets Amplify, which is also rather rare with Fire.
Was jetzt?
Jetzt warte ich erst einmal darauf, dass die Splinterlandsserver wieder online gehen, und Land 1.5 nutzbar ist.
Dann bestelle ich mein Land und direkt danach beginne ich den nächsten Artikel zum Death Splinter zu schreiben.
Warum Death? Weil der Death Dual Color Summoner als zweiten Splinter Fire hat, und wir damit die Feuerkarten abschließen können.
So wird die Reihe Stück für Stück fortgesetzt. Ihr könnt mir ja in die Kommentare schreiben, welcher Splinter nach der Logik nach Death drankommen müsste.

What now?
Now I'm waiting for the Splinterland servers to go online again and for Land 1.5 to be usable.
Then I'll plow my land and immediately afterwards I'll start writing the next article on Death Splinter.
Why Death? Because the Death Dual Colour Summoner has Fire as its second splinter, and we can use it to complete the Fire cards.
So the series will be continued piece by piece. You can tell me in the comments which Splinter should come after Death according to the logic.
I will raffle off a Rebellion Common card of this splinter among all correct comments.
