While my family enjoys playing Splinterlands, I've been having the best time this year in my Hive Engine account holding Splinterlands Assets. While just about everything tanked with Bitcoin, Splinterlands Rocked It!
I decided to get on with the "New School" and invest in a game the same way I would invest in Tesla or Bitcoin, albeit on a small scale the results were exciting. It was a successful team effort with the Family. In my opinion The old School is just that old....., I don't have time to wrap my head around the idea of tokenizing a game and explain why I believe Splinterlands can be a family vehicle for savings and crypto school. I do not need mainstream acceptance to set in before something incredibly revolutionary passes you buy.
This isn't investment advice just an observation. It is one thing to read what other people are successfully able to accomplish on Hive, It's an entirely different feeling when you take that information shared by all and have the same successful result. Blockchain Gaming for me as a Gen X'er is an incredible new dynamic. The best part is I don't have to become a a hardcore player to enjoy the experience. Financing Blockchain Teams or players through further Tokenization is going to become a huge industry in my opinion. The thought of making this happen even years ago would have been hard for me to wrap my head around.
We opened cards and on the 3rd pack a Gold foil Legendary Scorch Fiend card was flipped and I can now share in that Splinterlands Addiction. Our investment was up double and the joy of being able to tackle higher leagues with bigger prizes for the family players was worth it.The Splinterlands family venture was funded almost entirely off proceeds from creating content so that was an extra touch of sweetness.
Hive is manifesting some incredible magic in 2021, get on board and push your imigination beyond it's limits!
