With Arcana collection getting closer I am making sure I keep playing Splinterlands as regularly as possible and collect as many Glints and reward chests I can accumulate. One of the key reasons is that once Arcana is launched Chaos collection will most probably be moved out of Modern battles and Rebellion Reward cards will be stopped and replaced with the new Reward collection from Arcana.
There are still many reward cards that I am missing specially Legendaries and I want to level up as many Rares and Epics as possible.
Hitting Gold I League!
With this strategy in mind I have been hustling everyday and trying to push my winning streaks longer and longer. I recently hit Gold I league and thought of writing about the rewards I got specially the Rare Golden Egg Forager which was missing from my collection so far.
I started writing my blog but I was so happy with my winning streak that I decided to take a break when from writing and decided to do a few battles. Luck was on my side and my winning streak kept stretching longer and longer. I know that once you get a winning streak going you get paired against stronger and stronger opponents so even a small mistake would mean you lose your streak and those bonus 20 points per fight.
I finally broke through to Diamond III and as far as I can remember this was the first time I went past Gold I to Diamond III in a single day.

The chests I got from hitting Diamond III had a decent amount of cards but what was really remarkable was the high number of Merits I received. I had collected enough to open 2 Gladius packs which means I will be able to upgrade some of my Gladiators.
Having good levelled up Gladiators are key for you to do well in Brawls and also the fights where you decide to use a summoner that allows a Gladiator to be used.

Since last few weeks I have mainly been getting Rare cards from my Gladius packs so I was really glad to get 2 races and 1 Epic from the pack I got now. The best part was this Epic was Quora Towershead which is one of my Favourites Gladiators and I think it is stronger than many of the Legendary gladiators.
Prepping for the Long Term!
I am trying hard to level up as many reward cards as possible as these are soul-bound and not many people are unbending them due to the high cost linked to the process. Which means once the rewards are stopped it will be very difficult to get them from the market to upgrade any of the cards you like. So the best strategy is keep grinding as much as possible and upgrade them.
As I got multiple cards from my Gold I and Diamond III rewards I was able to level up my Janni, Halaran and Luceheim.
Now I need to decide that with just 3 days left in the season do I push further and aim for Diamond II League or start swinging in Survival mode for a few days.
