Power Plays Shield+Void= All Opponents Destroyed
What’s good, party people? Hope your weekend was a blast! I was stuck grinding at work, but I’m already hyped for payday. 😄 Today, I’m dropping my final entry for this week’s Splinterlands challenge, and I’m pumped to share my go-to team that’s been stacking wins like crazy. This squad’s built to handle melee and magic damage with slick moves like Thorns, Void, and Opportunity. The battle had a 49-mana cap, and I put together a killer lineup to take on the enemy. Let’s break down my six-monster dream team and why it slaps!
My Team Lineup
I just wanted a versatile squad that could counter their tricks and make the most of the 49-mana cap. Here’s who I brought to the fight:
Quilliun Legionary (Level 4, 8 Mana)
My tank’s an absolute unit! For 8 mana, this guy rocks Thorns to smack back melee attackers, Void to shrug off magic hits, and Close Range to fire 2 ranged damage from the frontline. With 8 health and 3 speed, he’s a brick wall with attitude.
Virid Venomancer (Level 5, 5 Mana)
Next up is my poison pal, dealing 2 magic damage with 3 health, 2 speed, and 1 armor. Shield Ward hooks Quilliun up with the Shield ability to block physical damage, and Poison’s got a 50% chance to sap 2 health per round. It’s like death by a thousand cuts![Insert image of Virid Venomancer here]
Thanalorian Blade (Level 3, Gold Foil, 6 Mana)
This shiny Gold Foil card’s a money-maker, boosting SPS earnings by 10%. With 2 melee damage, 5 health, 3 speed, and 1 armor, it’s got Execute to finish enemies with 2 or less health, Opportunity to snipe the weakest target, and Lookout to cut Sneak or Opportunity damage to my crew by 1.[Insert image of Thanalorian Blade here]
Conclave Tracker (Level 3, Gold Foil, 6 Mana)
Another Gold Foil star, also pumping up SPS by 10%. It’s got 1 magic damage, 2 armor, 5 health, and 3 speed. Repair keeps my team’s armor patched up, and Opportunity lets it pick off frail backline monsters like it’s nothing.[Insert image of Conclave Tracker here]
Halaran Huntress (Level 4, 4 Mana)
This speedy queen’s got 2 melee damage, 4 health, and 4 speed. Flying dodges 25% of melee and ranged attacks, and Charge lets her swing from any spot. She’s like a ninja zipping through the chaos!
Silverleaf Mage (Level 3, 11 Mana)
Holding it down in the back, this mage is a tanky distraction with 10 health, 2 armor, 2 speed, and 3 ranged damage. Taunt pulls enemy attacks, letting my damage dealers do their thing without getting hassled.
Enemy Team Lineup
Here’s the squad I was up against—tough but no match for my strategy:
Ulundin Overseer (11 Mana Tank with no attack, 12 health, 1 speed, and 5 armor)
A sturdy wall, but no offense to back it up without weapons training .
Endless Ape(10 health, 2 melee damage, 2 speed)
Scavenger ability grants 1 additional health per defeated monster—tricky health stacking!
Thanalorian Blade (Level 1 2 melee damage, 1 armor, 3 speed, 5 health)
Comes with Opportunity and Execute to target weak foes.
Madogre Anarchist (2 melee damage, 2 speed, 2 armor, 5 health)
Opportunity makes it a threat to my backline.
Satha Toledo (4 health, 4 speed, 1 ranged damage)
Tank Heal restores 1/3 of the tank’s HP per turn—annoying support!
Halaran Huntress (Level 4,2 melee damage, 4 speed, 4 health)
Charge and Flying let it strike from anywhere with evasion.
How I Planned the Battle
I built this team to counter the enemy’s setup and take home a bag of SPS! Their Ulundin Overseer had crazy health and armor, Endless Ape was stacking health with Scavenger, and Satha Toledo’s Tank Heal was a pain. My strategy? Hit hard, stay tough, and outlast them. Quilliun’s Thorns and Void made him a nightmare for their melee and magic attacks, with Virid’s Shield and Poison adding extra staying power. Thanalorian Blade and Conclave Tracker went hunting for low-health targets with Opportunity, while Repair and Lookout kept my team in fighting shape. Halaran Huntress dodged like a pro with Flying, and Silverleaf Mage soaked up hits with Taunt, letting my offense run wild. Those Gold Foil SPS boosts were just a cherry on top, making every win extra juicy. We wore them down and took the W!
Why This Team’s My Favorite
The 49-mana cap gave me room to play with a six-monster squad that’s all about countering whatever can get thrown my way! Quilliun and Virid hold the front, Thanalorian and Conclave clean up the back, Halaran keeps things flexible, and Silverleaf takes the heat. It’s like a perfect playlist—every card’s got a role, and they jam together beautifully. This team’s high winrate comes from its ability to adapt to whatever the enemy throws, whether it’s melee, magic, or sneaky backline plays. Plus, those SPS boosts from the Gold Foils make grinding feel like a side hustle. If you’re looking for a team to dominate in Splinterlands, give this one a spin—you won’t be disappointed!
