Thanks to a great suggestion by @aquanemo the next entry in this story will involve a choice made by all of you out there in internet land.
Any choice that receives ten or more votes will get thrown into a pot for me to give away after the next journal entry. If multiple choices get ten or more votes, then all cards involved will be given away! That could be up to 4 cards in this case!
Note: right now the card options will not be shown, I don't want to influence the choices. They are mostly common cards, so don't get too excited. If this ends up being popular, I can do more.
Here are the four choices, post a comment with your choice below:
Choice A -> Will Derian Kell find a home with one of the local nobility in the Southern Port City? Perhaps running afoul of pirates or other water based ne'er'do'wells?
Choice B -> Perhaps Derian will meet and travel with a Bard? Will they have adventures both serious and silly? Or is the bard herself a hidden foe, ready to strike Derian down when he drops his guard?
Choice C -> While travelling through the port in search of a comfortable place to rest his head, Derian is accosted by a man in a red cloak who summons forth a goblin to attack. Who could this man be and what reason would he have to attack?
Choice D -> Upon waking to a sound at his window, Derian scrambles to defend himself against a cloaked figure. Who is this assailant and why would they be here?
