Time for the BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge.
To spice up weakly battle challenge splinterlands came up with idea of BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge. BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge will allows players to showcase their strategic skills through their line up in battle field in variety of battle rulesets.
So theme for this week's BATTLE MAGE SECRETS challenge is Fog of War ruleset. Fog of War ruleset means all units loose snipe, sneak and opportunity abilities.
How to Play
Since in Fog of War ruleset sneak, snipe and opportunity abilities goes out of the window so the front monsters effectively serves as a tank facing all the enemy attack force so it must be able to either stand the damage or evade attacks. Tanks become of utmost important in this ruleset
Also there is one ability that can help you cheat this ruleset i.e. Scattershot. So trying Scattershot monsters or summoner can help you to target the enemy weak monsters in the back ranks.
Suited Summoners
To me the best suited summoner for Fog of War ruleset is CONQUEROR JACEK for its Scattershot ability.
MY BATTLE With Fog of War Ruleset
This was a 42 mana battle with three battle rules; Ferocity, Fog of War and What Doesn't Kill You. All splinters were allowed except Life and Earth.

MY LINEUP
CONQUEROR JACEK
Due Fog of War ruleset with Fire splinter allowed and sufficient mana allowed I went for classic JACEK COEURL high speed combo. This combo is always fun to watch working with enemy trying so hard to hit your COEURL.
COEURL LURKER
Upfront, I place my legendary tank COEURL LURKER. COEURL LURKER high speed, attack and health along with Taunt, Dodge and Phase abilities makes it a perfect tank. With sufficient speedy boosts this guy is almost impossible to hit.
SCAVO CHEMIST
On one down I positioned SCAVO CHEMIST to not only act as low cost Cleanse option but to also serve as provider of Slow ability..
SPIRIT MINER
Next, I placed another classic legendary SPIRIT MINER. SPIRIT MINER works as an excellent complementing monster to my tank providing Swiftness and Blind abilities.
COUNTESS SINASH
Next is used another Swiftness option i.e. COUNTESS SINASH. COUNTESS SINASH's heavy Opportunity ranged attack along with Affliction and Swiftness makes her a real bad ass monster.
CLOCKWORK AIDE
On the second last position, I used another swiftness monster CLOCKWORK AIDE. CLOCKWORK AIDE is a soulbound no attack epic with handy bunch of ability.
TORTISIAN CHIEF
On the last position, I placed TORTISIAN CHIEF as a healer. This guy will act as a back up if my tank gets hit by any chance.
BATTLE ANALYSIS
The battle went as planned. COEURL proved pretty speedy for enemy to hit. Enemy only managed to land a few hits which were handled by healer. Meanwhile Scattershot ranged attack ensured that enemy back ranks gets screwed.
