So you can now get suspended in the NFL for alcohol?

In today's NFL you can almost get suspended for anything, but I guess we can now add fermented tea to that list...
According to arizonasports.com "An Arizona judge on Monday ordered Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Michael Floyd to serve one day in jail for failing alcohol tests that he blamed on a type of fermented tea."
Floyd was under house arrest, for a DUI(Driving Under Influence) that had taken place in 2016, where I guess consuming alcohol was prohibited. I think we can all agree this story is pretty ridiculous in general and it made it even funnier when Floyd blamed it on fermented tea! All in all the NFL needs to drastically change it's discipline procedure, but they'll never do this because when big name players get suspended it creates huge headlines and free publicity. They've even been caught themselves in expanding story's on players like Micheal Vick, Ray Rice and others. While the players were still out of line the NFL didn't shy away from giving it as much media time as possible. Floyd has some talent I hope the NFL doesn't "out" him like they have other players!
Vikings GM had the following comments on the issue: “When we signed Michael Floyd, we hoped he would show signs of improvement and we continue to expect that he shows progress and a professional attitude”
