Thoughts on the event
This is probably one of the biggest and baddest UFC fight cards ever put together. It's a fight fan wet dream with 2 badass titles on the line, and lot's of other exciting matchups.
Miocic Vs JDS II
Coming to the main event, The first thing that comes to my mind when I think about Stipe is how smart He is. I've never seen a UFC HW fight like Stipe does. His mind is his greatest weapon. The first time I saw Stipe was his fight with Roy nelson, and I've been a fan ever since that day. The last fight between Stipe and Dos Santos was a win for Dos Santos, but if you remember the fight, you'll know that JDS won on a technicality, and took a lot more damage than Stipe. I believe Stipe has evolved since then, and this time JDS doesn't stand a chance.
Joanna Vs Andrade
Joanna is one bad bitch. One of the best strikers ever to get in the octagon. The thing I like the most about her is that; the more she gets hit and pushed into deep water, the harder she comes back. She's on another level right now. Andrade might give her some trouble, but I expect Joanna to pull through and kick the living shit out of Andrade.
Maia Vs Masvidal
I think many people are sleeping on Masvidal right now. The guy has been on a tear lately, and I believe he'll give Maia some trouble. Maia is often regarded as the best BJJ practitioner currently in the UFC, and everybody thinks He'll win. I've got a strange gut feeling that Masvidal is going to take this one. Keep a close eye on this one!
Yair Rodriguez Vs Frankie Edgar
Yair Rodriguez is one of the most exciting fighters out there with absolutely phenomenal stand-up game. I don't think Frankie will try to stand and trade shots with Yair. Frankie has been at the top of the 145 div for a long time now. Let's see How Yair handles the pressure. Very excited for this fight!
