Los Angeles Lakers carried out a real revolution this summer in their workforce in order to create a competitive team around LeBron James. The Angels halfway met their goal, as they achieved a second star to add to the forward, Anthony Davis, but they did not get that long-awaited third crack since Kawhi Leonard decided to sign with his Clippers neighbors, however, to get to ' The Eyebrow 'had to get rid of most of that young core with which they aspired to dominate the future:
Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Josh Hart set sail for the New Orleans Pelicans, while Kyle Kuzma remained the only survivor of that group of players. The 24-year-old 2.06-meter power forward has been the big bet of the franchise and as such considers that that third Lakers star may be next season:
"I don't feel any pressure and I think I'm capable of being that superstar, "he confessed in statements to ESPN. Kuzma surprised everyone during his rookie season, because despite being a number 27 of the Draft he ended up averaging 16.1 points and 6.3 r Ebotes per game.
Last season, like the rest of his young teammates, he did not meet the expectations generated although he ended up being the best of them with 18.7 goals, 5.5 rejections and 2.5 assists per game. "Last year I did not throw away nothing good and yet I averaged almost 20 points (per game). If I can shoot well and continue developing defensive aspects of my game I don't see why I can't be that third star, "said the player who is currently preparing the World Cup with the United States team.
